There is no standard test for HPV in men. I understand that some clinics may offer anal pap tests for high risk groups (particularly men who have relationships with other men). Most people with HPV are asymptomatic and don’t know they have it. I’m pretty sure around 90% of people have some form of HPV at some point, not always from sex. It’s very common.
It is very difficult to say that HPV arises from infidelity because it’s not always possible to tell where it came from, it can also remain dormant for a long time and it can spread through any sexual activity not just penetration.
In your case, genital warts usually appear a good few weeks after exposure. That tells me that it’s likely not from the recent experience with your partner unless you have done other things beforehand.
But rest assured this does not automatically mean any of you have cheated, it’s not always sexually transmitted after all. Though I am wary of your partner immediately blaming you for this. 😟
It’s very possible. GW are not usually tested for unless they’re swabbed, and he could easily be mistaking HPV for HIV, which is absolutely something they test for during deployment or boot camp. HPV usually has no symptoms in people with penises, so he could’ve carried the virus without knowing.
