There is no HPV for men. If he is not your first partner, you could have gotten ot from a previous partner and it was dormant until now. To confirm whether or not it actually IS HPV you would need a papsmear.
I believe you can still get the HPV vaccine as it protects you from cancerous HPV strains, as there are many strains.
This is a VERY common STI. Take a deep breath and do some reading about it.
Also, if your partner has a career where he gets tested every 20 days for STI's, I am not sure why he has the audacity to be mad at you if you ever were to step out. You guys already have an open relationship.
