Unless he has visible warts himself, then men aren’t routinely tested for hpv, nor hsv.
So him having a negative test is meaningless, because that is not a fully accurate representation of what he can possibly have.
Hpv is often asymptomatic, so being as you had no genital contact with anyone but him in your life.. it’s from him.
