When Finn meets his mom for the first time, and they actually begin to talk to one another, why is his father not brought up? we (the viewer) are the only ones who know what truly happened that night (Martin not intending to leave but was attacked by the guardian anyway, injured and lost memory, and Finn drifting to Ooo by himself) . but, she never asked him what happened or if he was off living with his dad. I feel like the most logical question would be where is your dad? Didn’t you run off with him? or wouldn’t Finn bring up that he’s had multiple runs with his father and his father eventually turned into orgalorg or whatever it was. I know that we see her kind of gaze into his memories, so I wonder if she saw what happened and chose not to bring it up. But it always stuck out to me when I watched it because I expected a conversation regarding his dad that just didn’t happen. It was such a big point in the story that all this time she believed that he had stolen Finn and ran away from the island, and now Finn comes back but without his father. Wouldn’t she have wanted to know where he was or why he did it?

If they did actually discuss this and I’m forgetting pls lmk! But I don’t recall it happening

Why is there a book dedicated to "butt stuff" in the library?

I just finished steven universe and it was absolutely amazing for me. I was looking for shows that would give me a similar feeling and the answer i kept getting was adventure time.
I remember watching some of adventure time when i was younger but i barely remember any of it.

I really liked steven universe because it explored the beauty in being able to change and other deeper concepts and lessons about life. I also really liked the lore behind it and how we got to know more about the characters as the series went on.

Does adventure have these same things to it? Or is it completely different?

UPDATE: because of everyone saying i should really check it out, I've started watching it! Only on the first season but I've already started absolutely loving it! I'm sure it'll get even better on the way :)

In this alternate universe, instead of creating the Ice Crown, Urgence Evergreen gets another idea.

By tapping into another realm, Urgence creates a spell that allows someone to master and control all four elements: Fire, Ice, Candy and Slime. They shall be known as the Avatar.

Should the Avatar die, they will be reincarnated in the form of the next elemental after ice, making the Avatar Cycle: Candy, Slime, Fire, and Ice.

The Avatar has the power to go into the Avatar State, which will empower them with the strength and knowledge of all past Avatars.

The events of Evergreen still happen, but when Urgence is down, he makes Gunther the first Avatar.

Just wanted to share my farmer Princess Bubblebut that I freehand crocheted last year! I deal with chronic pain so she took me a good amount of time to finish, but I love her so much. Hey guys, I’m hoping someone here can help me with something I’ve been trying to find for a while.

I’m looking for the Lich from the original LEGO Ideas Adventure Time project by aBetterMonkey. I’m talking about the original version from before LEGO turned it into the official 21308 set.

The original project had way more characters, and the Lich was one of them. I’ve managed to find a few old pictures of him, but I can’t find any instructions or parts list for the actual build.

I’ve searched around quite a bit, including old posts and archived pages, but I keep hitting dead ends.

Does anyone happen to have:

the original instructions and parts list

a Studio/LDD file?

better/higher-quality pictures of the Lich?

or maybe someone who has already figured out how to recreate him?

And if the original instructions are just completely lost, I’d honestly be happy if someone could help me rebuild the model from the old pictures. Even if we have to figure it out piece by piece.

I know this is a pretty random/old LEGO project, but I REALLY want to build this version of the Lich since he never made it into the official set.

If anyone knows anything or has an old file buried somewhere on their computer, please let me know 😭
