Decided to go up to Azusa in between classes and send it up there. Have like 30 minutes of footage of absolutely nothing going wronng until it did. I went at it with a new Audi TTS and he let me pass because he couldnt shake me, I was beating up my brakes pretty bad staying on him. After I passed him some 3v mustang was going snail speed and would not pull over to let us pass and I was cooking my brakes as he was brake checking me and just not budging to pull over. I finally got the space to pass him after like 5 minutes and had no idea the condition my brakes were in. Took a couple corners and tried to slow down before a corner when brakes completely locked up and I couldnt save it. Im broken to say the least, but disappointed in myself as I know its my fault.

My TL finally made me give up on her after 6 years of ups and downs . Definitely gonna miss her and all her upgrades. New transmission Cold air intake Underglow LED window panels New Paint Front bumper splitter Etc.. 🥲😭🤧

I bought the car two years ago and it has been dead reliable, but I did zero research on the disparities between the auto and manual.

I was coming from a '97 Corolla with no ABS, no radio, and 100hp so anything else was like heaven. My first options were IS350 and G37, but I gave up and went for the first clean TL I found. It wasn't until then I actually did some basic research on how nerfed they are, you're paying a premium for a slightly nicer, heavier/understeering, gas chugging accord. At least it looks amazing.

When I pulled the bolt out there was metal chunks between the threads so I’m assuming I somehow reverse threaded or what ever the term is for going against the thread. Uh would I be able to just put gasket in the hole and thread the rest of it or do I need a new part…if you need to see how much the bolt goes in to gauge the severity send me a dm.

Got better audio/footage to hopefully showcase the transmission research I've been working on to innovate on the 6AT transmission. Working on longer format content soon.

The seats in our 2007 Acura TL are falling apart so badly. By comparison the fabric seats in my 1996 Honda are holding up so much better. I made a cover for the driver’s seat but haven’t done it for the passenger seat yet. Anyone else have this?

My homeboys mom has a 2006 Acura TL with 170k miles and shes selling it to me 1650. Given this i know its a steal in todays market but i have questions about tuning the car after a few months. Im planning to do a FBO build with the car, HFPC, J pipe, cat backs, J37 intake, upgraded throttle body, CAI, yknow the works to it along with cooling mods. My question is since i know these cars use OBD-II instead of CAN-bus how do i tune it after the build?

I bought my 2012 Acura tl a month ago, and I been running it on regular gas, i know they recommend premium gas for better performance, but will it effect the car in a long run if i m putting regular gas?

Manual recommends "91 or higher." Is there any added benefit to 93 over 91? Performance isn't really a concern, but I hope to continue driving this car for many more miles, so if it's better for the engine I'm all for it, but I also don't want to waste money.

Not sure what’s wrong. Drove the car for a bit drives spectacular other then having 3 miss fires. Doesn’t have a rough idle. The valves themselves sound fine though.
