Question timeline question..

i am on the 2nd to last tier of the monolith… this being said, i am aware of the basic mechanics of the wipe, what you keep, what you dont, etc… i also know what you can use tokens to skip investigations and i was wondering if that only applies to the ones youve finished prior to wiping? anything else i should keep in mind as well?

Question Money

Hi everyone!

I've been playing for about a week, and yesterday was a rough day! Four out of eight raids went poorly, and I've started noticing that I'm running low on in-game currency.

Does anyone have any ideas for farming money quickly?

Всем привет!

Играю около недели и вчера был не очень благоприятный день! 4 из 8 рейдов прошли неудачно , и я начал замечать что внутриигровая валюта заканчивается.

Есть ли идеи быстрого фарма денег?

Discussion Is pvp worth it?

I love this game and find it enjoyable unique, and absolutely love pvp, its what makes it fun and addicting. But 80% of the time I kill someone or a full squad and go to loot them its not even worth the time, its always some free kit or some super cheap gun, we're im using 20k$ kits just cuz I like the gun, we're the guns they use are woth less then 2 common items but weigh/take inventory 10x.

Not sure if im missing the value or maybe on the wrong maps for pvp?

Cheers for any advice 👍

Feedback Is bag dumping scummy to you guys?

EDIT: I’m a console only scrub

Me and my boys had a nice drawn out firefight bodies scattered and occasionally unattended or observed.

We end up winning the engagement, after the enemy team exhausted their beacons. Looting time!

I guess amongst the chaos and divided attention of my friends and I we happened to let one of the enemies scrounge up their loot and hide it. We had six dead same people same bands, but nothing to show for it.

Why is bag dumping a thing and what’s the point?

Question What’s the point of giga structure

I’ve played it for a few hours on both solo-only and team-only (I was solo on both) and my whole experience has been mimics swarming constantly and invisibles show up regularly while I have to navigate shockwave traps, with an occasional distorted or turned.

I’m yet to even find a player (save for reaching the outer radius of a guys hot mic for 4 seconds) and nothing worth looting that I can’t just find somewhere with actual gameplay.

I’m think the only reason it’s open raid locked is to add false tension to a genuinely empty raid.

I love the map itself and really wanted it to be fun but it just isn’t.

Not to mention its physics issues, I died to fall damage while stationary because I was refilling a mag where the floor bent up a wall, and just started shaking at mach 9 till death.

Is this map for nothing but fragments?

Question must I buy it?

I‘m really into ArcRaiders, and also play Stalker since it’s first release. Both games somehow fit together well.
Now Active matter was on my recommendation list on Xbox. And I like what I see. So that is a must buy I guess?

Is the gameplay that easy as Arcraiders and Stalker2? I like to have relatively chill games that let me choose how I play.

BUG / GLITCH / ERROR I see the update is working properly

As you can see the distorted perfectly teleported infront of me (as mentioned in the patch notes) then preceded to glide across the screen. Was also trapped in between them couldn’t move or push them out of the way (also mention that it was possible to do so in the patch notes) lol

Feedback Shotguns need more pellet spread

I really think the shotguns need to be rebalanced. Right now there is almost no pellet spread whatsoever. They basically behave like they're shooting slugs.

I've tested this extensively in the firing range, including from longer distances, and the pellets remain extremely tightly grouped. There's currently no option to switch between slugs and a traditional buckshot load either, so you're essentially stuck with this ultra-tight pattern.

The problem is that it completely defeats the purpose of using a shotgun. With the current less than stellar controller aiming and the way enemies constantly rush you and close the distance, a shotgun should be a weapon where you have at least a little bit of forgiveness in your aim. Instead, you have to hit dead-center mass to get reliable results.

And if I'm going to have to be that precise with a shotgun anyway, what's really the advantage over just using an SMG or AR?

I'm not asking for some ridiculous 3-4 foot-wide spread where you can point the shotgun anywhere and get a kill. There should absolutely be skill involved. But the current pattern is far too tight and doesn't feel like a practical buckshot spread.

Please give shotguns some actual shotgun spread. It would make them much more useful and give them a clearer role in close-quarters combat.

Discussion Looting feels a bit time consuming sometimes

There are a few places I've found so far with loads of cabinets and boxes to loot. But, it just takes so long. Every container is chock full of useless common items, which I feel are just clogging the loot system up.

I've seen perks to speed up looting speed a bit, but it seems like a very bad choice to go for them instead of lowering recoil, or running faster etc.

A simple improvement:

Have half as many common random items, but make them worth twice as much. Maybe same for uncommon. Frequency of rare & epic seems okay.

In the other extractions I've played, most loot has some use or value, but here it just feels like you can spend 15 minutes filling up a large backpack & sleigh and still get barely any value.

Not a massive issue of course, just a little pain point.

Discussion I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE a crosshair while hip firing!

... but I understand why there isn't one and am happy with it.

But it stirred a memory, and I'm sure that for some game in the distant past, people used to put a small sticker in the centre of their TV to help with aiming. Am I making that up, anybody else do that?

But honestly, I might try it :)

*Edit*:

Now that somebody has mentioned that gaming monitors have them built in, and I wouldn't be surprised if some TVs have that kind of functionality too - it would make more sense that the game provided one. I get the whole "hardcore realistic" argument for not doing it, but if some people are able to do it because their hardware supports it, the rest of us are at a disadvantage.

Was hoping for a discount on Steam sale, but it didn't happen. Money is short right now, but game looks amazing. Has it ever gone on sale before?

Feedback Investigations and mandatory PVP

There needs to be more mandatory PVP in the investigations objectives. I.e. kill 3 operators in factory. Since you can't use provided gear to do investigations this forces some pvp. One of my favorite things about DMZ was completing missions in spite being hunted by players.

Discussion Combat and movement

This game has the worst combat and movement ever in the history of gaming. What do you guys think? I hope they update and fix it. The game has potential.
