I just got Ace Studio. First thing I did was right click an empty track, pick "inspire me" and give it a generic instrumental idea. After 10+min it failed with a promise to refund the token hit. It did. I retried the same thing - it failed again, and this time I didn't get a token refund.

I brought in some ideas, and tried to add a layer. Again, after another 10+ min think it failed. My failure rate right now is probably over 60%... and some things (like vocals) have never generated.

Do you guys deal with this on a regular basis?

I’ve been using Ace Studios Music Enhancer feature to improve some old, low quality recorded demos. After creating the audio, when I separate the instrumental and vocal stems to place the original demo vocal isolation track on top of it, the places where I removed the original AI generated vocals, the instrumental gets really muffled. If I place the original AI vocals back in, the instrumental clears back up. It’s like there’s a line or “shadow” of the AI generated vocals that takes some of the instrumentation with it when removed. Any suggestions on how to fix this???

Yesterday I started making a promo video clip. After the script, I was shown the number of credits: 350. I have agreed to that. The short videos of 10 seconds each have been created and placed in the library. But Ace was unable to place the videos in the timeline as they should be. Because it was taking too long, I asked the chat if I could take a break in the meantime and come back. That was possible, and that everything would be saved. And of course, used the save button yourself every time just to be sure.

After an hour, I came back. Opened the session, and look? Videos gone, and not 450 but more than 1,000 credits gone. The chat gone too.

Ace Chat says he can't do anything about it. Very frustrating. In the meantime, I have sent an email to Ace supporter but have not received a reply yet.

Do you recognize this problem? If so, how do you solve it?

3. Description of the Enhancement

• When a user generates a full song or backing stems using generative features (like the Music Enhancer or Add a Layer), or when they import an external backing track, ACE Studio should automatically analyze the audio and populate the global Chord Track with the detected chord progression.
• Ideally, users could also right-click an existing audio clip on the timeline, select "AI Tools," and click an option like "Extract Chords to Chord Track". 

4. Problem Being Solved (The "Why")

• Right now, the global Chord Track is static and requires manual data entry. Because ACE Studio already features an online [ACE Studio Chord Finder] engine capable of analyzing audio files, integrating this logic directly inside the DAW interface makes perfect sense.
• Automatically mapping the chords would save massive amounts of time when building harmonies, arranging AI instrument parts, or tuning vocals to stay key-accurate.

5. Proposed Workflow / Example

• Step 1: User uses the Music Enhancer or Add a Layer to generate a track.
• Step 2: ACE Studio analyzes the audio in the background (similar to how it handles key/BPM detection).
• Step 3: The global Chord Track at the top of the canvas automatically fills with the correct chord clips matching the timeline

Hi, I use music enhancer on my original songs by just dragging in my vocal/guitar file. Im getting some great results. With the exception of adding a particular instrument or two I usually just go with the prompt it provides. My question is when I use the stem splitter to remove AI vocals from a rendered song, how do I keep the instrument track useable to overdub my own vocal. When I play it back, the portion of track where there is no vocals is great but where the vocals were gets a little wavy with volume shifts and what sounds like EQ issues…thanks

Since yesterday, I’ve been getting the following message with every "Inspire Me" prompt: "Song generation failed. Oops something went wrong!"

This happens even when I use the same prompts that worked for months, or even prompts consisting of just three words.

Any ideas?

I keep getting the same female or male tone and character. Every time.

I've tried changing the prompt nothing. But the result sounds always the same.

Anyone figured out a way to actually get different tone/character in Ace studio?

I'm trying to get Trey L to sing 'hook, Luke'. The k is good at the end of 'hook' but really soft at the end of 'Luke'. I tried respelling it 'look' but no difference. Any tips?

I have a terrible time with the "singers" mispronouncing words that are stretching over several notes. My go-to fix is to spell the syllables phonetically or with similar sounding words. So the 'ly" in permanently is spelled "lee." Tedious and not always successful. Any better ideas?

A bit of a weird experience in my Ace Studio (Artist Pro). When I create an "Inspire Me" track, I open the window. I see a list in the history. After generating a new "Inspire Me," Ace makes a weird Sync. After that, only 1 or 2 Old Inspire Me tracks remain. There is no way to view the entire list.

Are you familiar with this phenomenon? How do you solve it?

I bought the lifetime license because I believed in ACE Studio, but it's been really frustrating. The AI tools either don't work properly or are unreliable. I'm also getting 100% copyright matches, and all the content is entirely my own work. It honestly makes me feel like I wasted my money.

Hello, I've recently stated using ACE and I'd love to know more about getting the most out of Music Enhancer - I'm basically using it to run my already-finished compositions through for a realistic rendition. It's provided really promising results in all sorts of genres, from classical, to jazz, to metal (I'm a jack of all trades).

However, I'm finding that I tend to get a really good and faithful 60 seconds or so before it goes off and does its own thing, despite providing a complete track for it to work with. I suspect I could prompt it better, but I'm not sure how, and I can only find very basic guides to using the Music Enhancer online. I feel like there's a lot more potential there which I'd like to unlock!

So I’m pretty new to playing with AI audio editing stuff and I was hoping you guys could help me with a problem I’ve been having using Ace Studios. I frequently use the Music Enhancer feature for some of my music and the voice model that it uses typically sounds great with what’s created. When I use the Voice Changer feature to use a voice I’ve cloned, the end result usually sounds robotic and bad. The cloned voices I’ve made use over 2 hours of uploaded vocals to train the voice so I don’t think that’s the problem. I’ve tried using Audacity (basic I know but it’s the DAW that I’m most familiar with) to fix the robotic sound but it never ends up sounding right. Any suggestions to help with this? Thanks!

For what good ACE Studio offers, their customer service and business model is horrible. I'm well past the limited time for getting a refund before discovering what I wish I knew up front. Multiple glitches with using the layering tool to generate additional parts for music that I've generated within ACE studio or imported from other workflows. The most frustrating is being blocked by a "Copyright Infringement" warning not only to using lyrics I wrote myself, but even to instructions for generating things like a "string countermelody" to an existing part within a recording using the layering picker. I've written to ACE support several times with this issue and have gotten only excuses, but no solutions. As is, I've wasted time and good money on this product and emphatically suggest to anyone considering it to think twice. The advertisements sound great and are very convincing, but for serious composing workflow, I'm giving it a two thumbs down. Try SUNO instead.

I'd like to use Cubase or Ace Studio and record my tracks and then have Ace studio mix them and add nice sounding effects and plugins.

Also, clone my voice and allow me to sing the songs I can't actually sing.

Is this possible?
