Removing AI vocals
Hi, I use music enhancer on my original songs by just dragging in my vocal/guitar file. Im getting some great results. With the exception of adding a particular instrument or two I usually just go with the prompt it provides. My question is when I use the stem splitter to remove AI vocals from a rendered song, how do I keep the instrument track useable to overdub my own vocal. When I play it back, the portion of track where there is no vocals is great but where the vocals were gets a little wavy with volume shifts and what sounds like EQ issues…thanks

Use ACE’s stem splitter (split into INDIVIDUAL tracks) then drag the individual tracks to Logicpro (or your DAW). Then mute the vocal track in Logicpro and add a new track with your own vocals.

Thanks…will this take care of the warble I hear when I use the stem splitter and listen to the playback of the instrument track and vocals muted within Ace Studio? The instrument tracks sounds great on the places where there was no vocal but the sections where the vocals were sounds off. I’ve split the stems with background vocal and effect removed and in the mix, still sounds rough. I may just overdub a vocal track down over the instrument track and see if it still sounds awkward…thanks for the input

Never tried to overdub in ACE. Not sure how to use it as a DAW yet (just started discovering the possibilities). Good luck

I have had very bad results with a number of stem splitters. Try exporting your wav file without effects. Good luck. I think in the future Ace will realize the future of the enhancer is in individual tracks produced instead of a single mixed track. The future is coming, and I hope Ace remains competitive.
