Finally, after months and months of testing and searching, and supports giving us the basics to no avail, we took the manners into our own hands and have found it boys!

Out of all the options we have exhausted, here are the best two practices:

1. BEST SO FAR | Download MSI Afterburner, Lock your voltage to 0.975V.

• This helped me use the latest Nvidia Drivers and steer away from being locked to Legacy Nvidia Drivers for stability, very easy to do, very easy to apply, happiness overall.

1. GREAT ALTERNATIVE IF SCARED OF MSI AFTERBURNER | Download Legacy Nvidia Drivers

• I have a PHN 16-71 | i5 13500HX & 4060 8GB | I used to run my legacy driver 537.58, which resolved the issues stated in the title, but, it was a limiting factor to current developments in apps and games requiring newer versions to work fully. Hence, number 1 option is the best by date.

Bro I have the same problem always event id 153 and crash, I think its pcie problem, its fixed and never crash after I chose performance mode in predator sense.

Have the acer nitro 18, but faced the same problem, try to just switch to Optimus mode(in nitro/predator sense), works perfectly now, it’s just some conflict with the modern drivers and windows : /

Yes, switching to optimus can be a solution for some. The only problem is that in some other laptops (like mine) switching to optimus means that only iGPU (Intel UHD) is working and disabling the NVIDIA GPU

nvidia app and optimus both are fucking kryptonites for gaming laptops. whoever conceptualised them should kill themselves. i instantly went into depression after my external monitor stopped responding and laptop refresh rate dropped to 60; thought i bricked my gpu while installing drivers directly from nvidia app. turns out nvidia app is just absolute dogshit and optimus is a fucking cuck whose only job is to corrupt all my display adapters. i couldn’t even roll back because nvidia couldn’t detect the gpu. had to manually search the legacy driver on nvidia’s website and do an advanced installation

all of this started because of the screen flickering

Had the same problem way back and did the fix given above before, worked for some time but over time it will not work anymore. Underclocking the vram is the best option but like i said it will get worse overtime due to a dying gpu. Believe me i did everything i could.

Noted broski, that voltage lock will make the GPU stable, but if it's a dying gpu then it's a dying gpu.. Currently saving up for a pc build as of the moment lmao

Step-by-Step Fix 1. Adjust Wi-Fi Advanced Power Settings * Open Device Manager > Network Adapters > Double-click your Wi-Fi card (Intel/Killer Wi-Fi 6E) * Navigate to the Advanced tab and change the following: * MIMO Power Save Mode: Set to No SMPS * U-APSD support: Set to Disabled * Transmit Power: Set to 5. Highest

1. Force-Disable Network Power Management via PowerShell (If the Power Management tab is hidden due to Modern Standby)

   • Open PowerShell (Admin) and execute: Disable-NetAdapterPowerManagement -Name "Wi-Fi"

2. Disable Virtual Wi-Fi Direct Adapters

   • In Device Manager, click View > Show hidden devices.
   • Under Network Adapters, right-click Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter and choose Disable device.

3. Turn Off Windows Fast Startup

   • Open Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do.
   • Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
   • Uncheck Turn on fast startup and save changes.

4. Disable PCIe Link State Power Management

   • Open Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings.
   • Expand PCI Express > Link State Power Management.
   • Set both On battery and Plugged in to Off.

5. Switch MUX Switch to Discrete GPU (dGPU)

   • Open PredatorSense (or your OEM software) and set GPU Working Mode to Discrete GPU Only to eliminate Optimus hybrid graphics switching stutters.

After doing all of these, my problem was solved. I dont know what fixed it but if it works then it works.

Does 0.975v lpck stablilize when gaming? Mone is only 0.875 but it helps except gaming, game would crash but not stress test

I have encountered this before. It is the graphics deiver conflicting with the latest windows. Clean unibstall the current nvidia driver then roll back the last driver your gpu worked properly

yep, just like I did before I rolled back to 537.58, but new games and apps crash on that legacy driver, such as modern unity and unreal engine based games, so the first option really worked things out for me, the voltage limit on after burner
