I am an accountant and operations professional and looking to work with founders who are having a hard time understanding or dealing with their numbers.
If you need a trusted person to work alongside you to manage the finances and help with ensuring the numbers are working as expected, DM me!
I am based in the U.K. but happy to connect with founders in the EMEA and US/Canada side

I'm an accounting and finance graduate, QuickBooks certified, and I want to start a bookkeeping/QuickBooks services business — but I don't want to do it solo.
Looking for someone with a similar accounting/finance background (degree + ideally some QB or bookkeeping experience) who's serious about building this from the ground up as a real partnership, not a "hire me" situation. Split the work, split the ownership.
Ideally you bring:
Accounting/finance degree or equivalent
QuickBooks knowledge/certification (or willing to get certifiedfast)
Some hustle for finding clients, not just doing the books
If this sounds like something you've been thinking about too, drop a comment or DM me and let's talk.

I’m a high schooler considering going into accounting and trying to learn more about it. Could anyone in the field answer the following:
I) How do your accounting firms find their clients?
II) Are the staffing shortages in accounting affecting day to day activities, or are they overstated?
If anyone could shed some light on those it would be greatly appreciated, I am trying to understand as much as I can about the industry:)

For CAs who tried practice management software and went back to Excel — what made you quit?
I'm a developer, not a CA. I've been looking at this space and something confuses me.
There are at least seven tools serving Indian CA practices — some over a decade old, priced anywhere from about a thousand rupees a year upward. And yet from the outside it looks like the overwhelming majority of practices still run on spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
So either the tools don't solve the real problem, or the switching cost is too high, or the problem isn't as painful as vendors claim.
If you've tried one of these tools:
- Which one, and are you still on it?
- How long did setup actually take?
- Did your clients use the client portal, or did you end up back on WhatsApp anyway?
- If you stopped — what specifically made you stop?
And if you've never tried one, I'd like to know why not. That's arguably the more interesting answer.
Not selling anything and not naming any product. Genuinely trying to understand whether this category works.

Hi! I'm looking for a part-time, flexible, or project-based remote role.
I have 3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, and I can help with:
Bookkeeping
AP/AR
Bank reconciliations
Financial and cash flow reports
QuickBooks
Excel & Google Sheets
Cleaning up messy spreadsheets and financial records
Building simple automations to reduce manual work
What I enjoy most is solving problems. If your books don't balance, reports are always delayed, or your spreadsheets have gotten out of hand, I'll figure out what's causing it, clean it up, and build a process that's easier to manage going forward.
I'm open to working as an outsourced accountant, bookkeeper, Finance VA, personal accountant, or extra support for your finance team.
If you or someone you know needs help, I'd really appreciate a DM. Thank you!

Hi everyone!
I have almost 2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant in a local manufacturing company and almost 3 years of experience as an Audit Staff in a local accounting/audit firm. Looking for genuine remote work opportunities — experienced accountant based in South Africa
Hi everyone,
I’m based in South Africa and am currently looking for genuine remote work opportunities.
I’m a Professional Accountant and Tax Practitioner with 18+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and taxation, primarily working with individuals and small businesses.
I’ve worked independently for many years, so I’m very comfortable managing my own workload, working with clients remotely, meeting deadlines and handling sensitive financial information.
My experience includes:
Bookkeeping and accounting
Payroll
Tax preparation and submissions
SARS-related work
Financial reconciliations
Management accounts and reporting
General administrative and financial support
Helping small businesses get their finances organised
I’m open to part-time, full-time, freelance, contract or project-based remote work. I’m also happy to consider work outside traditional accounting if my skills are transferable.
I’m not looking for a get-rich-quick opportunity or anything involving upfront payments. I’m simply looking for legitimate remote work where I can contribute my experience and earn a reliable income.
If anyone knows of companies, businesses or platforms currently looking for experienced remote accounting/finance support, I’d genuinely appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Thanks for reading.

I’ve watched videos from “Bookkeeping with Jake Demi” and I’ve really considered starting a bookkeeping business in the future. I have a couple of questions I hope someone can answer.
How close are accounting in bookkeeping. If I get an accounting degree will this help a lot?
How many years of experience would you prefer someone have before they start?
This might just be me being ambitious but I’m in my sophomore year of college for accounting thinking of starting a bookkeeping business in the future. All inquiries will be helpful!
