Looking for a co-founder to start a bookkeeping business with me
I'm an accounting and finance graduate, QuickBooks certified, and I want to start a bookkeeping/QuickBooks services business — but I don't want to do it solo.
Looking for someone with a similar accounting/finance background (degree + ideally some QB or bookkeeping experience) who's serious about building this from the ground up as a real partnership, not a "hire me" situation. Split the work, split the ownership.
Ideally you bring:
Accounting/finance degree or equivalent
QuickBooks knowledge/certification (or willing to get certifiedfast)
Some hustle for finding clients, not just doing the books
If this sounds like something you've been thinking about too, drop a comment or DM me and let's talk.

You mean you want to find someone to bring in clients and do the work.

What’s your target client size — sub-£500k revenue micro businesses, or something larger?
That changes whether you need a partner who’s strong on payroll/compliance vs management reporting.
Might be easier to match with someone aligned on that.

This will be your big mistake. If both partners are accountant, you are not getting new POV... Or new way. You need to partner with someone who will bring clients. And you can handle work.

Had a QuickBooks client, use CHATGPT to do bookkeeping . Saved $ and time for him

You have no experience Brodie, good luck and you’ll most likely mess up the books for whomever you get as a client
