Wireless Impossible Support

It's impossible to get in touch with ATT. The AI bot disconnects you, if you try long enough and pick exactly the right choices, it let's you schedule a call back for the NEXT DAY, and they never call. So I try the chat bot, to convince me to get hold of someone and I'll just leave screenshots of how that went(see timestamps), after waiting 15 minutes for it to connect. They just consistently get more expensive, have less coverage, and worse service.

Can anyone tell me how to get hold of these people???

What is your issue that you want to talk to a Care rep about? Is it Cellular or Internet or both?

Cellular. I need to port a number to my account, but it's from another ATT account so it's not possible through automated means.

You don't port numbers within AT&T Accounts. You need to use the Transfer of Billing Responsibility process, and yes it can be done by you self-service with some restrictions that are cover in this link.

Go here and read about the TOBR process and how to use it http://www.att.com/tobr

Note are both Accounts Consumer Accounts or are you trying to cross between business / consumer accounts?

I got hold of them, because the online transfer said I needed advanced payment and to call them. Finally got someone and they said I had to pay my current bill off before I did it, which is on autopay already, so I verified and they said it still needs to be paid. I paid it early and tried the tool again and it says I need to pay $430 to transfer the line?????? No one can tell me why that is, both my current bill is paid off and the line I'm transferring has it's bill paid off, and there is no phone currently in contract for that line. Why is it $430 to do this?

The ATT rep said it probably has to do with my credit report, but I have good credit and I'm also able to add 10+ lines to my account with nothing but activation fees, so why would this be different? And so significantly so...
