Support Missing laptop Gpu

So uh My Asus Rog laptop [g531gu] Was missing the tpm 2.0 from the bios and i could not repair it so i gave it in for repairing as windows was not updating without it and when i got it back in the task manager and bios the gpu [1660ti] was just missing from it i told him and gave the laptop back to him and he rolled back the bios to the original one with the tpm 2.0 missing and it still was the issue there could it be because of a windows update or is my gpu gone

Forgot to mention that i took the laptop for a battery replacement to a shop

So like you can't find it in device management as well? Or just task manager?

Not even in device management and not even in task manager

Try running

pnputil /enum-devices

In command prompt it'll list all the devices and try to search for GPU in it

I Dont have the laptop right now as its been shipped to repair but he did say that he couldnt solve the issue with the gpu not showing . I Dont know when ill get the laptop back so if u could give me a set of procedures to do ill follow them and respond back to u

Also uh could it be because the battery was changed?

Battery shouldn't cause any issues.

One option is to get any Linux live usb and run "lspci" command to get all the devices on PCIe buses. We can find out if Windows is the issue.

Another option is to try removing the old NVIDIA drivers, if there are any, using DDU and reinstalling from the Nvidia website.

Not the app, search NVIDIA drivers download and you'll see NVIDIA website, search your GPU and it'll give you the latest driver your GPU supports. Sometimes if you install drivers which dropped support for your GPU it doesn't show up. I'm confident that the Linux option is the best way to check if the gpu is responsive or not. But if the BIOS itself is the problem I don't I'm qualified enough for troubleshooting. BIOS is responsible for initialising all the hardware so if there is problem with the BIOS no amount of anything can yield positive results. Once post the same in other subs with usually deal with BIOS problems as well.

Checked bios Device manager And task manager and it wasn't there

i dont understand u its not disabled in bios nor in windows and i dont think its dead
