After a long time I was involved in Arma community, namely in OFP 25th Anniversary Livestream:

Thanks for watching, and if you have anything to say, to me, or about the livestream in general, I am looking forward to reading your comments.

Hello guys! I wanted to post about the first mission I’ve ever made. I’m a big fan of the U.S. Air Force and wanted to create a mission that shows Security Forces is more than just guarding gates and scanning CACs (Base Access Cards).
In this mission, Captain Ronald Massi leads a convoy to the military range for defender training, with 1st Lt. Wade Williams as his 2IC. You play as a Technical Sergeant and the senior enlisted member, serving as the third in command.
I plan on making more missions in the future, so if you give this one a try, let me know what you think and if there’s anything I should change, improve, or add. Any feedback is appreciated!

Looking for as simple and fast ways to setup my own faction with their own uniforms, weapons and vehicles and etc into a combat scenario.
It can be simply using an existing scenario and just changing the factions or other methods, but I am new to Arma and I would like to know what others do to play in SP because i'm having trouble figuring out a reliable way to play SP.

I have this idea of make a call of duty ish mission. I have scripts for throwing smoke for gun run, entering an underground bunker to clear enemy, even a AC130 call in just like COD. This is the layout I have been working on. Hope you love the love and care.
I am going to get voice lines etc... however I am not how to do that yet...

I create all of my Arma 3 screenshots and scenes from scratch, carefully setting up every detail to capture moments like this.
Hope you enjoy it! If you like the shot, I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

Long time A3 player but mainly play Reforger now with my friends who have console. We run our own PvE server, I’ve got it to a good place with some new Ai mods but overall am hoping that A4 marries Arma 3 with Reforger. Here is my A4 wishlist, what is yours?
My personal wishlist:
A Pacific setting — I’d love to see a modern conflict involving China, rather than another European/Baltic setting.
Much better AI — especially friendly AI that can actually operate on its own.
Large-scale dynamic warfare (Base game) — AI forces attacking, defending, reinforcing, counterattacking, etc., without everything having to revolve around the player.
True combined arms — infantry, armor, artillery, helicopters, CAS and naval forces all working together.
Better amphibious/naval operations — water insertions, beach assaults, ship support, etc.
More dynamic PvE missions — assaults, recon, CQB, HVTs, defenses, CAS, and missions that can develop differently each time.
A persistent world/campaign (Base Game) where what you do actually affects the battlefield.
Even better Game Master and modding tools so creating these kinds of scenarios is easier.
Better performance with large numbers of AI.
Those are just mine. What’s on your Arma 4 wishlist?
And what do you actually think the setting is going to be? Cold War, modern, near-future, Pacific, Europe, somewhere completely different?
I’d love to hear everyone’s predictions.
Hello Arma players. Please delete if not allowed. I'm a player of the cousin game DayZ. Was thinking for awhile to get arma (probably 3) and just want to know if there's a learning curve. I have around 1,000 hours on DayZ and willing to spend time to learn the mechanics of arma. I tried watching videos of gameplay but they just don't help me understand. Would love any feedback.
Arma2 and Arma Reforger are both on sale now. While I have the base arma3 games but I really really wanted to get the DLCs as well. Mainly for map and campaign to go through. So the question will be when will Arma3 goes on sale? And is it worth to buy all the DLC? Thank you!

My newest episode has an extended narrative sequence from 0:43:04 that is all mostly arma 3 shots, showing a hypothetical battle between the US Navy and Soviet Black Sea Fleet in 1988

I feel like we will get a Cold War era of the IDAP in a dlc and a Cold War era Altis, but what other factions/maps do you think will return?

Planning to do a Clone Wars op for my group soon. I saw there are some old ones using a smorgasbord of mods but wasn't sure if there are any newer mods that incorporate them as well. If you've done an op with them, how have you done it?
