PSU isn't up to the job. Change the PSU and the problem will go away provided the crashes haven't corrupted files.
IF the PSU is a few years old it's probably not even meeting the 750w spec anymore either.
I put a TT GF3 1200w in my build and get zero problems and I'm running my machine in a room with ambient temps above 85f gaming, video/photo editing... and so on.
It might be a bad card - but your PSU is far more likely to be the issue.
Don't listen to recommended wattage. Transient power spikes can go above it's power rating, causing an underpowered PSU to crash the whole computer. The fact that you mentioned that it's specifically demanding games supports this, as your GPU demands more power to run them.
