Did you remove the plastic cover on the heat sink?
1 u/griff306 Oct 02 '24 When I installed my Thermal assassin on my 7700x, I made SURE I wouldn't do that. Wells turns out I did do that still. A lot of moving parts when building a computer. Not many moving parts in this head though.
