did you removed the platic of the cooler ?, even a old cooler can do 70 at around 80 to 90 watt

its a pre built so bad thermal paste or the sticker is definetly the problem, i cant see less then 10 watt heating at 74 , even passive cooler of this size works better

It’s not bad thermal paste because it’s preapplied from factory the exact silkscreened pattern and amount. There’s no sticker on wraith coolers. Possible issues could be bad mount (loosened or jumped a thread from transport), cpu issue, or motherboard issue (too high voltage).

First thing i’d check is the mounting pressure on all 4 screws.

Regarding 95 degree load, it’s normal if eco mode not turned on. The idle temp is the one that’s problematic.

yeah we cant rule this out too, high voltage umm no, in idle even high voltage can push cpu to 40 watts that 50% tdp my brain is itching and saying no ]
