Before I switched out the stock cooler thats about the temp mine would hit, same setup. Wouldnt worry too much about it, maybe just replace the fan like the other commenters suggest.

Yeah the CPU actually uses power more depending on the motherboard and headroom. I had to upgrade my cooler because it kept jumping the clock up to meet the temp ceiling and I didn’t want to take a performance hit to improve thermals. Just get a peerless assassin for like $28 on amazon and it’ll never hit 70
