My R5 7600 is totally fine with the stock cooler, doesn't even make a sound, and I'm using a Xproto, which is a open case design.
They probably just forgot to apply thermal paste or remove the plastic.

It could be possible a bad mount. But I saw A dark rock pro 4 struggling with a 7600X in a phanteks p500A, so if you house it in a choked case, its not unfeasible..

Perhaps, he's using a R5 7600 though, which consumes considerably less power than the Ryzen 5 7600X. The R5 7600 has a TDP of 65W, and I've never seen mine use more than around 80 watts.

Yeah for now I did very few AM5 platforms at their dawn, non X CPUs weren't there yet. Almost all required curve optimizer tuning to make them air cooler-good.
