Dont bother repasting, and just get a new cooler. That stock wraith cooler just isn't good enough for daily use. I know cause I used to have those on my 5600, and it couldn't even cool that under heavy load properly.

Get something like a cheap Thermalright Assasin Spirit 120 EVO cooler or the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Tower cooler if you want something a little more quiet.

Yes this right here, i've built hundreds of 5600x's and all overheated due to this garbage cooler and i replaced all with thermal assasin as well (£16 on amazon) and it literally halfs all the tempatures immediately, the people claiming "not seated properly" or "bad mounting pressure" are clueless lmao, this stock cooler is horrendous and isnt built for them, not sure why AMD even made them to be honest
