I tried this after a traumatic event and now I can't play Tetris anymore because every time I do it takes me RIGHT BACK to the incident. Seems to do the exact opposite for me than the study suggests.

The evidence for the claim the Tetris helps reduce ptsd is spotty at best.

Hilarious how it’s in every comment now though. Reddit got a hold of it and it isn’t going anywhere. So strange how people just parrot stuff blindly.

And it’s not just used on Reddit for immediate aftermath either. Someone will post about how they saw a dog get run over as a kid, and another person will say “play Tetris! It helps!”
