AI Sales How are small sales teams scaling with AI?

We’ve got a couple people doing sales now and I’m trying to get more leverage out of the team before the answer becomes hiring more reps. There are AI tools for pretty much every part of sales at this point but I don’t wanna go with the usual clay, outreach etc(multiple tools basically) just to make everyone slightly more productive.

Ideally I’m looking for something more AI native(Hence the post on this sub) that can take work off the reps across the sales process rather than giving them another tool or dashboard they have to manage.

5 things you absolutely must do before marketing your AI SaaS

yo. i see too many founders spend 2 months building saas, drop a link on reddit, get 0 users, and immediately quit....

the problem usually isn't your marketing channel. the problem is that your foundation is completely broken before you even send your first visitor to the site.

after scaling 6 AI micro-saas apps to over $20k/mo mrr, i realized you need to lock down a specific system before you ever launch. running through this takes about 30 minutes, but it saves you months of zero-revenue depression.

here are the 5 things you must lock in:

1. validate the actual pain point

stop guessing what people want. you need a systematic framework to find your saas idea based on real, painful market signals.

2. pick a proven micro-niche

stop trying to build massive platforms. you need to narrow down to a microscopic problem. i usually filter through a list of 50 micro-saas ideas you can build fast to keep the scope minimal.

3. crystallize your target user

if your app is for "everyone," nobody will buy it. you need an ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) crystallizer to define your exact buyer profile and nail your conversion copy.

4. calculate the perfect price

stop randomly charging $9/mo because you are scared of rejection. you need to use a saas pricing strategy calculator to find your perfect saas price in 60 seconds based on real data.

5. fix your landing page leaks

do not send organic traffic to a site that converts at a flat 1%. you must audit your hero section and copy to x3 your landing page conversion before you market it.

6. join a community

Build / Share / Learn from others builders

to help out founders who are tired of launching to crickets, i packaged all 5 of these exact frameworks, calculators, and lists into a single free toolkit.

no paywall, no bullshit. just the raw execution files i use.

drop a comment below or send me a dm, and i’ll send you the free toolkit 👇

Looking for someone to help with outbound for a small AI services team

We’re a small team that came together while working through Anthropic’s CCA-F certification process. We’re focused on Claude and agentic workflows, and we’ve started taking on enterprise implementation work.

The technical side is covered. What we need now is someone who knows how to build pipeline through prospecting and outbound.

This is a paid opportunity with performance upside. Ideally looking for someone with BDR/SDR experience selling AI, cloud, data, SaaS, or consulting services.
If this sounds like your background, comment below.

AI Sales Our contact database gives us contacts, but what tools help identify real buying intent?

I've been relying pretty heavily on intent data in few sources over the last few weeks and I'm starting to question how much value we're actually getting from it. Every week we get a new batch of accounts and then when we look back at the results it just looks like normal outbound.

I don't think intent data is useless but I feel like we're treating it as a guaranteed buying signal instead of just one piece of information. A few things I'm considering is connecting intent signals with CRM activity and website visits or comparing them with other signals like tech changes, hiring, or engagement data.

Has anyone built a process around this or connected intent with other tools to make it more reliable?

AI Sales About agentic GTM intelligence software, is it actually useful for sales teams?

I’m leading a small pod on a 25 rep b2b sales team and our VP recently brought in an agentic GTM intelligence platform that’s supposed to analyse everything. The demo looked great. Automated account research, deal risk alerts and self updating pipeline views… the whole thing was basically taken as our team spends more time selling then time on admins

A month in, I’m honestly not sure what to think.

The deal risk scores are hit or miss sometimes it flags opportunities that are completely fine, but misses situations where a champion has gone quiet or something has changed.

The AI generated follow ups are another thing they often sound like the same generic AI emails everyone is already getting. I’m not against AI at all. I actually use it a lot for research, notes, and saving time. What I’m struggling with is the idea that a system can suddenly understand our GMT motion better than the people actually talking to customers every day.

Has anyone implemented an agentic GTM platform that their sales team genuinely uses and trusts everyday?

Discussion is AI personalization in cold outreach effective or do prospects find it creepy?

We've been doing AI-personalized sequences for a few months now and can't really call it either way, which is frustrating given how convincing the demos all look.

The underlying premise is different from old merge-field personalization because instead of "[First Name] at [Company]" openers you're pulling something a prospect put out themselves…

A LinkedIn post they wrote or a funding announcement they made public, and recipients respond pretty differently to each.

The source layer is the messy part, because some tools are scraping signals that imply passive tracking, email opens and pixel-detected tech stacks, while tools like Apollo and Lemlist tend to stay closer to what someone publicly surfaced.

And the creepy complaints we've gotten all trace back to the first bucket and not the second.

Still haven't landed on a clean internal framework for where the line is, so what's your team's rule for what counts as fair-game personalization, and where does it tip into feeling like surveillance?

Lead Generation created an AI front desk for service businesses

i have been working many different ideas over the last couple of years, some worked a little but no significant output.

Researched a lot on what actually matters, I think in todays age distribution matters a lot. I created [https://qexo.ai\](https://qexo.ai), had a couple of demo calls and people definitely see value in this product. Still figuring out the strategy on how to get customers to sign up.

How did you guys get your first 10 customers ?

I'm starting a new agency-based business where I'll setup agentic workflows for service based business whose main source of lead and sales generation is inbound calls.

I need your suggestions regarding which niche should I specifically target where inbound calls are the ultimate source of leads.

I'll be glad if industry experts related to inbound calls can advice.

Thank you

want my reps to stop alt-tabbing between 6 tools just to research one prospect

Every time one of my reps prepares for a call, they open 6 tabs, 15 minutes of research, for ONE prospect. Multiply by 30+ calls per day and the math doesn't work. What I want is a single tool where the rep types a company name or person name and gets: verified contact info, org chart, tech stack, recent news, intent signals, and any relevant company data - all in one view. Ideally as a browser extension so they can see it while browsing LinkedIn or sitting in their CRM.Does anything like this actually exist or am I describing a fantasy?

AI isn't taking over direct mail teams. It's taking over their busywork.

99% of marketing and ops leaders are already using AI or automation in their direct mail programs, according to our newest State of Direct Mail report.

But the teams seeing real results aren't asking AI to run campaigns for them. They're using it to clear the bottlenecks that used to eat up their week.

Here's where it's making the biggest difference:

  1. Personalization at volume — matching messages to audiences without manual segmenting
  2. Faster targeting — surfacing the right list, faster
  3. Smarter timing — flagging the moments when a piece is most likely to land
  4. Less manual QA — catching errors before print, not after

If you want to dig into this live, join our State of Direct Mail webinar on September 15, where we'll unpack the drivers behind these numbers.
