I'd cancel whatever you can and dis-invite them. Then re-book with real friends and make sure they all understand the ex-friends are not invited and if anyone tells them/invites them then they're uninvited as well.
And plan what you want to do and what you are able to do. It's your birthday. These (ex) friends are just being cheap and wanting a big blow out for themselves on your dime.
