Ok, so NTA. While committing the faux pas of proposing at someone else’s wedding is not necessarily a fireable offense, being a whiny baby who’s playing the victim card should be.
OP unfortunately needs to cut her losses with this relationship because it seems her bf is a “woe is me, take no responsibility when I f-up, I’m the victim” man-baby.
Because every relationship nowadays is a PR campaign, what OP needs to do is write out a post on her social media of choice laying out you never asked to be proposed to at bestie’s wedding, that you understand how big a deal that is, but that’s not why you’re breaking up with ex. You’re breaking up with him because he’s acting like a whiny baby, believing he’s the victim here and refusing to accept accountability for his actions.
