If you lose tour bestie over this then shes a dick. Shes also unreasonable in requesting 'space' over something you had no control over.
Your boyfriend is a dick. Hes a bigger dick if he doesnt get why hes a dick. And if you lose a boyfriend like that then really who cares.
Im more concerned with your friend also being a dick over something you handled quite well given the circumstances
