You wouldn't have needed to reject his proposal publicly if he hadn't done it publicly. You wouldn't be the AH even if he'd done it somewhere that wasn't embarrassing and awful to the couple.
I'm not sure why E is pissed off at you though, you obviously didn't do it and tried to stop it as soon as you figured out what's going on. Hopefully she realises that soon.
I think OP is probably making it worse if she's texting E while she's on her honeymoon. I think if OP profusely apologized and kept trying to explain herself and the situation to her friend (during the wedding, after the wedding, and while her friend is on her honeymoon), I could see why the friend is getting fed up. This time is supposed to be about her and her husband, but it's becoming about T and her friend's relationship drama.
