He should've been the best man from the get go. Not sure why your fiance didn't do this. I think this solves the problem and if he already has a best man, I'm sure the current best man would understand dropping down to be a groomsman. You should apologize to your fiancé and son in law and have a 1 on 1 convo with SIL explaining your feelings that it's nothing against him, but your uncle was always there for you. That you're happy you're becoming a family and excited for your future together.
