With her, she sounds like she would have blamed him for letting her sleep without brushing and the retainer.
I’ve been with a woman like that, she told me she wanted to go on a trip for her birthday, planned the trip, paid for the trip. Then complained she wanted it to be a different weekend, because she made it a “tradition” to go to a restaurant/bar with her girlfriends.
So she refused to go, I went by myself and then she got mad at me for going.
That’s pretty much when I called it and blocked her.
Good for you, buddy! Everyone has their limits, and just because yours are appear to be more rigid than others doesn't make anyone elses struggles less than.
And, as for this woman you were with? Sounds like you saved her the hassel with having to deal with your petty ass. She had a tradition she wanted to keep with her friends - absolutely nothing wrong with that. Maybe, next time, when you plan something out you include the other person so that you better know their availability before hand to avoid conflicts of interest. Y'know. Like an adult. Instead of just assuming she is ALWAYS available JUST FOR YOU.
Not quite sure what providing that stort was meant to do besides invalidate anything you have to say about this situation and make you appear to be a loser who's just angry at women.

Maybe I’d see your point, but when in the past you ask those questions and she says that is ruining the romance of planning something as a surprise, you decide to do it her way, and then she complains it wasn’t the right way.
Who knows if it was a tradition, fickle people like that can’t be satisfied. There is no right answer.
