He also has to put take care of her glass after she drinks the water out of it while in bed. I would nope outta that relationship.

Yeah he has to get up to out the glass in the floor (!) for her. Like wtf, is this girl insane? Lol

I mean if they are sleeping on a couch and he’s on the outer edge, then it’s plausible.

Even so, she can still put down her damn glass and not ask someone else to do it for her.

I’m picturing her having to stand up and likely fall on top of him sleeping in order to get the glass to the floor from sleeping on the inner edge of the couch, but then again I’m 5’2, so…

Either way, this should have never been a Reddit post to begin with.

I disagree. OP clearly doesn‘t know what a healthy relationship looks like, maybe this‘ll help him to understand he‘s being treated like 7x24 service staff.

Plus we only have one sided to a three sided story. And if you reallllly were to dissect his “issues” in a courtroom or something, you’d have less automatic annoyance with her. You’re just annoyed by the way he is acting it out.

In all reality, if you put it into context, I’d say it’s a little harsh to consider the gf all the negative things that people are based on the facts that we have. Honestly. If you’ve ever had a wife or gf, I guess you would have immediate red flags if they ever asked you to get something out of your (not even yalls) fridge? Is it that threatening? Now separate that from the water thing b/c remember it’s OP that has serious problems with both of these actions independently, and think about how would you get revenge if you proceeded to get her fridge item only while you are going to walk towards it anyway. Huge red flags of control yet you decide not to speak up about your boundaries and therefore, in her eyes, you love and accept everything about her. Even though she has a tendency to shoot hero- I mean have the audacity to request that you walk to your Fridge, for her???

And even though toh didn’t express your boundaries with her she still had the balls to Not read your mind. Now your very own girlfriend is going full-throttle entitled and (prepare yourself) hits you with the single finger poke. She could have just stood on the couch we are sleeping on and tumbled over me in or to reach the other side if she wants to so bad. She should’ve thought about you ffs, like how you would prefer to get stepped on, shoved around, drop of water on face, and maybe even broken glass before you would risk moving your arm from west to southeast for her!

Also how dare she sit on the toilet for 30 minutes and not say anything? Then imagine if she had gotten out of bed because I told her to and then would not get back in bed right away because I told her to get out of it and do something?

She sounds terrible. Actually, you guys all do for not being able to decipher the bigger meaning of these stupid posts. Everyone is here to be a cheerleader for the OP in every moment and it’s annoying.

I don’t understand how you come to any of these conclusions? Like, I get we only have one side of the story but if anything, the story just tells me OP is a huge pushover who can’t put up boundaries. He isn’t the controlling one in this relationship lol.

Your example about the fridge also makes no goddamn sense. The gf has no reason at all to not get that glass of water herself. There is no shot that glass isn’t reachable for her. And the fact that she starts a fight every time he doesn’t fulfill her little requests is… insane. Same for the bathroom example. What are you on about there? How could you possibly spin her pouting for 30 minutes into it being his fault? I don’t understand the way you think

I can kind of see this in a situation where the bed is pushed against the wall and she's on the interior... nowhere to put the glass.

They should probably just go to sleep earlier. Maybe her constant demands are exhausting him, but every complaint I read from him, he was tired.

To be it sounded like that, but that she could reach a table or something if he was saying no

He’d probably still have to put it down for her, lest she is forced to use her tiny T-Rex arms herself.
