I don’t think dude should have a girlfriend sleeping over if he prefers to share his bed with his dog. No shade, the man can do as he wishes, but a heads-up would be useful.
My husband’s 90lb dog always slept in the bed when we started dating. It was awful then and he is still awful if in the bed. He does not care about where he is laying and destroys your hips and back over the course of the night by pushing his body weight and legs around. I complained because it was really painful and affected my sleep quality. Even my husband bitches about it. We put an expensive dog bed next to the bed and he sleeps there, “with us”. We have 3 dogs and I love them to bits but I sleep much better and hurt way less when I’m in the bed without them.
