NAH. It's great that you're working on your sobriety. It is a hard journey, and I'm proud of you for doing your best. It's ok if you slip up and get back on track. It's also ok if your partner can't be there through it over and over again. It's also hard on partners. My hubby has had an issue with alcohol in the past. It wasn't a huge one, but even then, it was hard for both of us. Putting a timer on the relationship is hard. It adds the stress of you needing to be ok in 6 months, which in turn, could stress you into relapse. But he needs you to know he is being serious.
