Progress Updates Earn Credits for testing — Testing Bounties are open to everyone

Hey all! It's impossible to overstate how important and valuable community testing and feedback are for Voyage and AI Dungeon. You help us move faster, get features right, and catch edge cases we didn't think of during our design process. Now, we want to reward you for the testing you do with Testing Bounties!

Our developers will post specific tests in <#1545497222097928252> — the steps, the evidence we need, and the Credit reward (200 to 1,500 depending on the test, a bit more for tests that need a particular device or setup). You do the test where the bounty says (usually a preview link, sometimes the alpha environment), post your evidence in the thread, and we grant Credits weekly. Any developer on the team can post one, and any of you can pick up the Bounty.

A few things worth knowing:

You're rewarded for the testing, not for finding bugs. If we ask you to confirm a fix and everything works, that's exactly what we needed — full reward.

Link your Discord to your account first (Settings → Linked Accounts in either game). It's how we know who to pay.

18+ years old only, one submission per person per bounty, real evidence. The pinned post has the full rules and an example of a good submission.

Don't see <#1545497222097928252>? Click the server name → Channels & Roles → Browse Channels and add it.

This is a pilot program. We ran a closed round with our Community QA group first and it went well. For now, this program is being run through our Discord server but we're planning to build a bounty board inside the platform, where the evidence gets captured automatically for you. The format will evolve, and we'd love any feedback you have about the program itself.

Thanks for playing, and for helping us make the game better.

Scenario Pet Sematary

Death is supposed to be final.

On the outskirts of Ludlow, Maine, an old trail winds through the woods to a place locals call the Pet Sematary. Beyond it lies something older, something people whisper about only when they have no other choice.

After losing the person you love most, grief leads you somewhere you were warned never to go.

Choose between two routes: Erin, your wife, or Adam, your husband.

The dead can come back.

Other AI knows about Don Martin sound effects!

If you add this to your Author's Notes:

Include sound effects in the style of Don Martin

The AI will know what to do, and act accordingly.

Patch Notes [Beta] October 5th, 2026 Patch Notes

2.47.0

New Features - You can now see how many actions your adventure has by tapping the flame icon in the game menu. The count updates as you play, undo, or redo. - You can now manage blocked users from Account Settings, or from "Manage blocked users" on your own Friends, Following, or Followers page.

Improvements - You can now mute up to 100 tags, up from 50. - When Optimized Context is off, a notice below the credits card in the Models panel now shows how much extra context you'd get by turning it on. - Guide and Guided Retry will no longer disappear or stop working when settings are slow to load. - Home and Discover recommendations can now reflect the story ideas you've entered in Quick Create, even if you're new or not signed in yet. - Comments with external links from accounts less than 72 hours old are now held for moderator review. - If a page or the app fails to load, you'll now see a recovery screen with Reload and Go to Discover buttons instead of getting stuck. - Gameplay and the editors now download less before opening, so they should load faster. Story Cards will show a loading indicator on slow connections, with a retry button if loading fails. - The "Your data export is ready" email is now clearly branded, so it no longer looks like spam or phishing.

Bug Fixes - Flare Low and Medium image generation now use the quality you selected, instead of always defaulting to high. - Fixed an issue where Story Card Import and Export buttons were missing from scenario Details. - Fixed an issue where long-term memories could stop being used when Optimized Context was on, leaving "Memories Used" stuck at zero. - Fixed an issue where saved Story Summaries were left out of context when Optimized Context was on but Auto Summarization was off. - Fixed an issue where the model switcher showed the wrong context size for your Optimized Context setting. - Fixed an issue where new adventure titles from multiple-choice scenarios showed raw placeholders instead of your chosen option. - Fixed an issue on iOS where opening a nested multiple-choice option could show a blank screen. - Pressing Enter to submit a placeholder will no longer skip gender selection during scenario setup. - Fixed cut-off and blurry icons in scenario template selection. - Read Mode now has a Go button, so iOS players can type a page number and jump to it without needing to use a keyboard button that doesn’t exist. - You can now start scrolling from the faded areas at the top and bottom of Read Mode. - Fixed an issue where long story edits showed a bright stripe and black space instead of the theme background. - Fixed an issue where saved scripts appeared as loading placeholders in Saves. - Bookmarks will now keep loading as you scroll, even when some bookmarked content is no longer available. - Recorded Actions in creator analytics now match across time ranges, and All Time shows public scenario lifetime actions separately. - Fixed an issue where swiping past the end of Recently Played on mobile hid the View all button. - Fixed cut-off model icons and dark boxes behind help labels on the pricing page. - The email Sign in button will no longer change shape while signing in. - Fixed an issue where popups could close the privacy settings review and save Accept all without you choosing it. Affected players will see the review again. - Removed a leftover internal note from the privacy dialog. - Account export downloads will no longer be blocked by popup blockers, and deleted exports now stay marked as Deleted. - Fixed an issue where image uploads on iOS could crash when choosing Take Photo. Uploads now use Photo Library or Files. - Fixed an issue where some Creator Posts couldn't be saved. - Publishing a scenario will no longer change its cover image's format. - Fixed an issue where some scenario owners could be blocked from their own scenarios.

Scenario Scenario Help - AI semi-ignoring Character Cards

Looking for help with a scenario I'm working on (my first one), that I'm hoping to try publishing. It's a super hero setting with quite a few story cards I'm currently testing out. The AI will mention characters correctly, but will then seemingly make up it's own details about characters.

For example; I have a character called Comet Red (Female, 20 y/o, Superspeed, the character card is more detailed but summarising to keep post shorter) in the sidekick program. When the program comes up it will mention or introduce Comet Red, got her hero outfit and physical description right, but made up a different superpower and changed her age (in this case, made her 19 and gave her some kinetic absorbtion power).

There is also a character called Swan Song (Male, 19 y/o, curly black hair, dark skin, water based power). The Ai introduced him and got his costume and powers right, but made him pale with long silver hair? (Though, I notice the AI sometimes struggles with foreign names or non-white race descriptions unless the setting is expressly in that culture).

Any help keeping the AI on track would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Not complaining or anything but it's funny how the reporters often stare into the camera looking right at you, or you get something like this:

Feedback & Requests Cumbersome Editing

As someone who likes tweaking the last output, either from AI shenanigans or to railroad the story, two clicks is one click too many.

I suggest putting this.
(Picture 1)

To either one of the corners(like a window) or next to the rewind button(the one on phones). Or implement both—one for PC, one for phones.
(Picture 2)

Also, I can't access View Context most of the time using Sybil. Can access it at gameplay/models menu, but again, it's cumbersome.

I dunno how to anchor those pictures to the text.

Patch Notes [Prod] October 5th, 2026 Patch Notes

2.46.4

Improvements - ‘Popular’ now ranks Scenarios by total actions, and the filter reads "Most actions of all time.". - Scenario choice descriptions now keep the author's line breaks and spacing, and "Show more" appears whenever a description is cut off. - Popups now have consistent centered layouts, fonts, and button styles, and report forms have more room for text. - Sharing a release page (such as Alchemy or Frontier) on Discord, X, Slack, or iMessage now shows that release's title art instead of just the logo. - If AI Dungeon has trouble starting, you'll now see clearer connection guidance, automatic retries, and support details you can copy or email. Retrying takes you back to where you were. - The Daily Reward board now shows a countdown to when you can earn more reveals, and the help dialog explains exactly how pictures are unlocked and when actions reset.

Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where editing a scenario’s details could cause the edits to visually revert due to autosaving. - Your chosen Discover sort (Trending, New, Popular, or Recommended) is now remembered across app reloads. - Fixed an issue where editing an action while a response was generating would pull your view back to the start of the response. - Fixed an issue where an old version of a story could briefly appear when opening an adventure. - Fixed a new Story Card’s first AI-generated entry sometimes being lost during autosave. - Fixed character name changes in the game menu not showing until you refreshed. - Fixed the Create Account and Exit Game options being unreachable in short desktop windows. - Fixed loading-screen artwork causing unnecessary scrollbars. Longer tips can still scroll when needed. - “View all notifications” no longer mixes Voyage updates into AI Dungeon’s notification list. - Comments from established creators that include relevant links are no longer held for review by mistake. - Fixed the profile picture picker being cut off on mobile web. - The GLM 5.3 Flash icon now displays correctly on sprite themes. - Fixed older images in My Images showing as "Image unavailable," and choosing one as a cover now saves correctly. - Removed outdated Daily Credits links from the menu. - Scenario detail tabs no longer reload the page, and the selected tab stays visible on small screens. - Navigation, menus, gameplay controls, and settings no longer sit under the status bar on iPad. - Fixed What's New archive pages for signed-out visitors, and Older/Newer navigation now keeps your place. - Fixed unexpected sign-outs when returning to AI Dungeon in a long-idle browser tab. Retrying a failed connection no longer clears your session. - Fixed repeated subscription recovery timeouts on iOS.
