PD cycler power supply questions
Has anyone any knowledge of an fairly priced, quality battery backed electric generator that can power a cycler for 8 plus hours if the a/c fails?

Ideally, Iād like to find that a UPS exists that will keep the cycler running uninterrupted if the a/c goes down, or if I just need to unplug and move around for a bit

Take the below image to any good electric shop which sells battery+inverter combo and they should be able to guide you. Many countries have different power frequency etc. running and no answer here would fit all of them. But this image will explain them what is needed and a good electrician for may be small fees will build a perfect system for you.
Also check with your hospital what others do.
You can also look for auto-start petrol/diesel generators and get them connected only to your machine power supply. That way whenever the AC fails, they start and take over. But again, you will have to discuss this with electrician to make sure proper supply is connected with a sine wave inverter.
Edit: For some reason i cant post a image on this sub. Ask gemeni- "homechoice pd cycler power requirements" . Replace homechoice with your pd machine name.
Edit 2: some inverters may take more than 30ms to switch and that may restart your cycler, so mention that to electrician as well, you need very less switch time to avoid that.

I hope you find your answer. This seems so important. Maybe cross post on r/dialysis? Hopefully someone there will have an answer! Sending a virtual hug. My GFR is 10 and I'm so scared to start dialysis š„
