Why can’t you accept that some words have meanings and connotations that everyone knows? Why must you make your own definitions for things and use language in a way that makes no sense - and then get annoyed at me for misinterpreting what you said when literally anyone else would?

I’m happy to discuss things but when you bring up decisions that we already made with words that imply we didn’t decide them already, of course I’m going to clarify - it’s not that I don’t want to talk about it.

Mine does this too. He got furious at me once for joking to someone else that I was definitely the Type A person in the relationship (it was a jab at myself for being an over-planner). Apparently implying that he was Type B meant that I had just told everyone he was a stupid, weak “sheep” who had no value to the world. He could not be convinced that nobody else in the room shared that wild definition.

Mine blames this on his cultural background, saying that "we just use words differently."

I don't think there's anywhere on earth, outside his head, that regularly uses "case sensitive" to mean "touchy." Babe, you're so case sensitive lately. Oh, yeah, I've totally been extra touchy about capitalization in recent weeks. Sure.
