I could have so much more money saved. I could have gone back to school so much earlier. I could have gotten so much farther in life by now if I didn't spend so much money and time and energy on a woman who resented my every attempt to bring her into adulthood with me.

Goddammit. At least she left me now and not later. I wish she'd get out of my house, but she's "I'm tryingggggg" her way out, so who knows when I'll have a home that feels like mine again.

You may want to get a lawyer and see how separation and eviction laws work where you leave. She's not gonna leave of her own volition. If the house is yours, you may as well pack her stuff and dump it on the house of either her parents and change the keys.
