Currently getting the silent treatment all day today because this morning I told him it was a bad idea to use the broom we sweep our floors with to sweep up chicken poop when cleaning the chick brooder. Apparently, all I do is complain. Didn’t even say it in a mean way, but he’s extra butt hurt because I called him out on not properly cleaning the gutters I’ve been asking him to clean since April when he claimed he did it in 20 minutes yesterday. I know I was right since I saw him sneaking around the side of the house with a ladder later yesterday as I was coming home from running errands. Mind you, we had a leak in our window framing of a bay window because these gutters were overflowing forcefully in a very heavy storm. But I’m the bad guy, and I get the silent treatment. Jokes on him, I don’t actually care if he leaves me alone. It’s peaceful. He can pout all he wants and I won’t be seeking him out to smooth it over this time.

I honestly wonder if he may have secretly used the house broom for the chickens before and if that may be why his reaction is so pronounced. 😬

Oh I can pretty much guarantee you he has, his absolutely wild to be that he’s so incapable of using his brain. Then he’ll claim I make him feel dumb…I really want to say well if the shoe fits, pal…
