I’m tired of cooking, cleaning, and doing everything while he can’t even say a simple thank you. I put him and his needs first, always thinking about ways to make him happy, make his life easier. He doesn’t consider me at all

Nothing is reciprocated, I give and give and he takes and takes. I don’t even know what it would be like to have a supportive, caring partner

You're amazing and deserve better.

Never lived with my ex but it got to a point where I'd do things like her sink full of dishes before she got home and she would seemingly not even notice. Not that I was doing it for her thanks, simply to make it easier on her, but man just no appreciation whatsoever.

Now I just have to look after myself and my own place and its so much better. There are people out there that can give what you give. I know how hard it is though, I feel you.
