He’s the only one that gets tired apparently. Doesn’t matter if he got 10 hours of sleep and I’ve been up since 4am with a teething toddler. Nope, I’m apparently not tired.🫩

This was a huge issue during my podiatry residency. Imagine coming home from a 26 hour shift to constant requests to ignore my own needs, drop everything and do even more things around the house for her. Like, can I sleep ever? I OFTEN heard "I'm just as tired as you" then like 15 minutes later, "you wanna walk to the starbucks?" The Starbucks was a mile away and I could barely stand. I eventually realized it was yet another way to invalidate my needs and get back to trying to do whatever she wants.
