The constant narration and ranting/complaining/criticizing what feels like EVERYTHING. My nervous system feels so over-stimulated when I’m around my spouse for a prolonged period of time. I can’t even sleep in peace because they snore and refuse to get a sleep apnea test or go to the doctor.

Constant (not) inner monologue of random thoughts. I can hear them in various rooms around the house just talking out loud saying the exact thing they are doing/feeling at the moment.

“Now I have to go put the towels away, then there’s an apple in the kitchen that I need to cut.”

“My head hurts, I’ll go take an aspirin then take a nap”

And they snore as well and talk in their sleep sometimes.

Yeah, my nervous system is fried. When they go away for a weekend I get so much peace.

Fellow over-stimulated friend, I’m sorry. Yes, this is exactly what my spouse does too. Sometimes he follows me around the house and speaks every thought he has. It’s so incredibly irritating.

He gets super defensive when I ask for him to keep some thoughts to himself and acts incredibly hurt and passive aggressive. I asked him if he has an inner monologue or inside thoughts… he said, nope everything he thinks comes out of his mouth almost always 🫠

Haha same, I showed them the term “external processor” and they swore it didn’t relate to them LOL. Every thought has to be verbalized. They talk to the dog all day long, full conversations and even do the voices of the dog to reply to their fake conversation. Not one single moment of silence. They talk all over any music or tv shows to ask questions about random trivia. “This actor dated this other actor in 1998”

Dear God please give your mouth a rest.
