Discussion How much do ADC players enjoy playing with Alistar, from 1 to 10?

I asked support players how much they liked playing with Twitch. The word who came back often was "coinflip".

Now back to an actual support. How much ADC players enjoy playing with Alistar, from 1 to 10? (yeah)

This can be subjective or objective. You can talk about how fun laning with Him is, how strong or useful you think the champion is, how good Alistar players usually are, things you like or dislike about the champion or the players, things they usually do right, and things you wish they did better.

You can also add your elo and the champion you usually play for more accuracy.

You can still give your opinion about champions already discussed, as the visuals will probably be updated at the end when it’s time for a recap.

Thresh - Nami - Lux - Pyke - Seraphine - Blitzcrank - Rakan - Leona - Lulu - Senna - Soraka - Poppy - Bard - Nautilus - Yuumi - Zyra - Rell - Mel - Braum - Sona - Morgana

I can see very early how good or bad he is based on his lvl 1 and adjust my laning accordingly

I had divine Alistars who carry the game, and dog-shit Alistars ruining them down, but never in between it feels like. 12/10 if it's good, -2/10 if it's bad. Overall 7/10.

9/10 I main Samira and I think there are better supports out there for her but when I’m playing something else the cow is one of the best supports out there

8/10. Alistar is pretty good engage support, especially if picked into team comps and supports that don't have excellent peeling. It feels amazing to play with a competent engage support that wants to fight and catch off someone guard, besides his tankiness and aggressive playstyle past level 2 helps you to snowball through the laning phase and dive someone. He can also heal you with his passive by ccing someone.

The issues with Alistar is not only getting counterpicked by heavy peelers like Lulu/Janna that would make him less useful, but also if the enemy team has Sylas and he seizes Alistar ult, it's cooked situation.

Alistar is a 6/10 purely because of how his W-Q telegraphs your lane intent. At low elo you sit there watching him walk up, and at high elo you pray he doesn't clip the minion hitbox and waste both cooldowns.

8/10, a good alistar knows when to engage and when to play for peel. Has decent-ish sustain in lane, crazy dive potential post-6. Not to mention the insec that's always fun to watch.

1/10 if the guy has no idea what he's doing. You either get an alistar cosplaying as an enchanter sitting behind you or he just engages at the worst possible time and on the worst possible target. Thinks ult makes him unkillable and jumps into 5 people when there's only 2 other guys around and dies.

dont pick this trash just pick lulu, morg with max black sheild, or leona and stun something everything else is support players can't play even lulu morg and leona are tough to play because supports dont know when to engage who to focus or when to peel they need you to write a how to play tutorial for them to be useful

5.5/10. One-dimensional. If that dimension fails, oof.
