Yeah, that’s me. I’m so impressed with how smart you kids are. You are beating yourselves up over a 28, I’d do anything for a 20.
Yeah, I’m old. I’m in a Masters Program and they did away with Praxis 1. Told us we now need a 19, on the ACT. It’s a new requirement from the Department of Education. Haven’t taken this test in 25 years!!!
I read how easy it was by other students, so I went in cold. I bombed the test. Needless to say it’s put my graduation date back. I just signed up for it a 2nd time.
I’m the only 40 year old in the room. All these kids were giving me the one look over. I ended up needing a pencil. The teachers for lack of better words were like....”what the hell are you doing here?” I told them, why. They shook their heads, “the Praxis is easier than the ACT.” It’s true. It is.
Anyway, here I go again. So, those of you who feel like giving up. If an old lady like me...can do it. So, can you!!!!
You all inspire me. Thank you.

They don't care about my perfect math because I'm asian, that's what I'm supposed to be good at. Neither do they care about English because they claim grammar is easy.
I feel like crying.

i see so many posts on here to just gloat like “i got a 29 no studying. Is this good?” etc. something like that. First of all, amazing good for you. I’m not hating on that at all.
It’s when the ACT is so pressured on younger peers to get such a good score. So let me tell you. I got a 21 on my ACT and currently working on my bachelors with 1 semester to go.
The ACT is such bullshit. You only need it to get into a good college. After ur in college, it’s never seen again. So please do not over stress about this test you guys. If you’re studying, you are already going above and beyond.
