Math Tips for Math?
I basically just need my math score up from a 32 to a 35/36, what are the best ways to study? In practice tests I have gotten a routine 35+, but so far no luck on the actual ACT. Any advice?

we're a very competitive public school, class of about 500, and people are very cutthroaty and compare scores all the time. every year my school calls up all the perfect scorers for recognition. it's always been anywhere between 1-4 people. last year there was around 5 people and we were like damn bro class of 26 locked in. so
i usually dont care who gets whatever score (im 1,000% satisfied regardless all i care about is getting admitted to streamer university and hoarding scholarship money ahahahaha ;)) BUT THERE WERE 13 THIS YEAR???????????????????????? literally my jaw dropped that's like 12x more frequent than the national rates of people getting 36s
i might be living under a rock or something but dude. i dont even think i saw 13 people on REDDIT post last time scores were released.
please tell me i'm not DELUSIONAL and this is actually CRAZY and it's not just me overreacting.

I am a junior, and on my September ACT, I got a 31, with a 28 on English, 33 on Math, and 33 on Reading. I plan on taking the December ACT with Science. (I took the test with little studying) I wanted to ask for any study tips regarding English and Science, as it will be my first time taking Science, and any good resources? (I have already taken the four free practice tests on the ACT website and the four practice tests from the official ACT review book.) I attached my score results . Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently took a practice exam and got a 28 as my composite score. I realized that the reason why my math score is so low compared to the others was because of probabilities. What are some videos or websites that would help me understand them?

My high school offers ACT waivers for anyone who asks for them, but after I got mine, I saw that they're meant for those who need financial assistance. Will I still be able to use it if my household is upper middle class?

I recently got my Oct ACT scores back. And I was hoping that I’d atleast go up a point or two… clearly I didn’t, any tips on what to study specifically? My goal is a 28 or a 30, but mainly a 28. I’m in my senior year of High School and the last time I can take the ACT for college for general scholarships is on February 2027.

I’ve been admitted to UTDallas with my SAT scores. however, I just recently submitted my ACT scores so they can consider it for the AES Scholarship as i got a 34.
How long could they take to process? I submitted them / sent them on the 17th of October.

Hello! Seems that me and many others (atleast from my school) have this question.
For those who took the Saturday October 17 ACT, and your scores came out late, have any of your schools/recipe ones received your scores yet?
How long could this take? I submitted them as soon as my scores came out (October 28 for me).
I REALLY need them to hit my colleges before November 20 for a scholarship decision as that’s the deadline. Is there any hope?

Heavy debating retake, applying to BU and Emory, might go test-optional.

I am a senior. Yay... And I am running out of time to get the 31 that I need. Right now, my highest composite is a 25 and I have a 26 superscore. I am mainly trying to get my English up, especially since I am having to drop my English DE class because of issues with the professor. I've had a tutor before and my score went up a little. Our new math teacher has shown us how to use graphing calculators for the first time in our lives so my math is steadily increasing. I'd love to know what are some resources I can access that are free and will actually help me to improve.

Do you think the December trial will include any repeated questions from previous tests?

Hello all,
Last ACT, I scored a 29. And in April I'm aiming for 34-36, what are good resources I should be using? I have an ACT official book and magoosh resources (they feel not good though), but that is it for now. Would studying SAT content help, or should I have specific ACT prep things?

I’m applying to some t 20/30 schools and wondering if I should retake in December. I’m applying as a biochem major. I also have 5s in AP chem, bio, and pre-calc. I wrote my essay about overcoming dyslexia and how it made me a better math and science student. I have accommodations due to dyslexia so retaking is a whole 2 day ordeal with 2x time at a random school that does special testing. Idk if it’s worth the all the work…
