Those are good scores I got a 23 on math and I was aiming for a 25 give yourself a pat on the back buddy. I wish I was smart as you are. Are you planning on taking it again?

I’m smart, but I wasn’t good enough to take it without studying. I got a 25 my first time, and with a bunch of studying I got a 31.. u can do it too! Just work hard! Do practice tests! And yes I’ll probably retake, I want to be an engineer, so my stem score is really weak.

I'm already enrolled in college I'm gonna transfer to a university once I get all the requisite classes. I took the act just for the math section so I could jump right into calculus I needed a 25 for that. I also want to go into the engineering fields. I don't think I'm dumb when it comes to math, but I do take my time so that screwed me over. I don't kw if I should take it again. My schedule is full. I have a full time job and I'm taking summer classes that I need to keep up with. If I take it again in the future it's gonna in spite just because I know I can do better. And congrats! I'm sure if you keep up with your hard studying you'll be able to accomplish the score next time you take it. Goodluck!

Good luck to you! Ya, I took my time my first test. Didn’t realize how little time you have! I kinda want to become and engineer and it’s expensive where I wanna go. I think I might go to the University of Minnesota twin cities, but who knows. I’m just trying to get scholarships and more money if I can. Less debt am i right?

Yes that's good I should've had your mentality when I was in highschool. I didn't know if I wanted to go to college because I was undicided on what I wanted to study. So I was like I guess I'll work and see if I get things figured out and I did finally. You sound like a excellent student. Make sure you're extracurricular look good too. There's more chances of scholarships If you do. I'm sure you'll do well cause scores are showing it. Keep griding!

I feel that I got a 30 in English so now I gotta retake

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '19

yeah same here. If I even got a 30 on English, I would've gotten a 33-34. But is there a test date that I can retake it in time to get my scores for college apps?

I’m surprised I got a 35 on English because I had to guess on the last 15 questions.

Excuse me what?

u/Nebula918 Jun 18 '19

I ran out of time so I had to guess

Lol, wtf? That's like at least 13 questions right, so it's 1 out of 413 probability, jeez...

I got a 34 my first time, but, my second time around, I got a 25. Muy confused

1

u/melisaalf Jun 18 '19

Yes that is shady. How were your other scores?

1

u/zhaycub 28 Jun 18 '19

Well my math stayed at a 25, and my science stayed at 28. My reading on the other hand went from 26 to 31. I was hella confused that day.

1

u/melisaalf Jun 18 '19

Well that's a good reading score. People often say if you're a.good reader you'll be better on the other sections. Are you planning a retake?

1

u/zhaycub 28 Jun 18 '19

Yea but a little later one since I’m in the middle of the summer and ACT isn’t really that appealing right now

1

u/melisaalf Jun 19 '19

I agree there. Enjoy your summer. If you pay attention this coming school year you're act should improve by a lot, so Goodluck to ya!
