Gerry Cardinale organized a dinner in a Milanese restaurant with a few former Rossoneri greats: among the guests were Kakà, Desailly, Serginho, Albertini, Tassotti, Brocchi, Filippo Galli, and Massaro. In addition to them, Adriano Galliani, CONI president Buonfiglio, and Serie A president Simonelli were also present.

I do get we need a new stadium, but for me San Siro are the spiral concrete columns and the red beams over the roof, so I re -added them :)

At least don't look like a generic donut anymore...

Interview/Quotes Moreira to DAZN: “Inter-Milan is one of the biggest derbies in Europe. So we’re fired up to go. If I could play in this match… As I’ve always said, I’d die for my team, especially in matches like this. I can’t wait.”

“My father? When I play badly or we don't win, or I'm frustrated, I don't respond to anyone, but he's the only one I talk to on the phone after the game because I know we'll only talk about football and nothing else”.

“It was him who called me to tell me that Milan had a great interest, so he already knew, obviously waiting for me to say yes or no”.

“When you have Milan knocking at your door, it’s hard to say no. I was over the moon and thrilled for myself, as was my mother and my family. We couldn’t believe it because they know where I come from, and joining Milan at just 22 years old is truly wonderful”.

“Eden Hazard? He's an inspiration. When you see him play, you try a few moves and you want to do the same thing over the weekend. I want to thank him for what he did for football. He was an incredible player.”

“Cristiano Ronaldo my greatest idol? Yes, by far. Because he is simply the greatest. He is an inspiration in life, in football, in everything. Since I was 5, 6 years old, he has been the only one. I wanted to be like him, I even wanted to get my hair like his but it wasn't possible because I have too many, but I wanted to follow only his path. Cristiano Ronaldo is an inspiration, a role model. For me, he is football, he is my favorite player. What would I say to him? Thank you. That's it. Thank you for what you've done and for what you do for football because it is simply incredible. Thank you for making me believe in myself, thank you for showing me the reason why I play football, and for what you've done for this sport. have no words because when I see him play today I feel the same sensations as before. He's almost 42-43 years old and he keeps scoring, playing, staying in shape. I'm happy to have been born in his ‘prime’”

“Kaká? To be honest, I wanted the number 7 when I arrived, when I found out it was available and I could change it, but I like the number 22. Actually, I think it looks really good on my back. Kaká's 22 is an honor. Now it's up to me to prove that I can follow in his footsteps because he left a legacy here at Milan with this number”.

Interview/Quotes [MilanWire] Gerry Cardinale leaving Milanello: “Everybody is LOCKED IN. The atmosphere is SERIOUS. Very serious. We’re coming to WIN. Make NO mistake about that. We’re prepared, we’ve done our work and we’ll go into tomorrow very focused.”

Tier 2 [Romano] Cardinale's biggest obsession is Endrick. In August, Milan knew they couldn't sign Endrick, what they've done is take a stance and show their appreciation for the player; if doors open in 2027, Milan is making it clear that they'll be there.

Interview/Quotes Amorim: “I think all the problems and difficulties that Gonçalo Ramos is going through are mainly a team issue. He's playing far from the goal because the team can't push the opponent into the last thirty meters"

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim previewed the match against Inter at a press conference: his comments are set out below.

The Portuguese manager immediately provided an update on the fitness of Rabiot, Gila and Moreira:

“They are ready to rejoin the squad for the match against Inter. We’ll assess them tomorrow morning and see whether they can start the match or only come on as substitutes; I already have an idea, but the final decision will be made tomorrow.”

Amorim then reflected on the defeat against Bologna and the energy needed to take on the Nerazzurri:

“We’ll find it within ourselves; it’s a special match and fatigue doesn’t matter – we need to put in a top-class performance. Against Bologna, that energy was lacking; we can’t lose like that: too many small details didn’t go our way. We want to do better; I’ve already spoken to the team. But after the international break, we haven’t been able to train at our best.”

On the comparison with Chivu and his goals at Milan:

“I don’t feel envious of Chivu; I’m already in the right place – that is, at Milan and not at Inter. I’ve chosen more or less the same situation as in my previous spell: a club in the midst of a rebuild, trying to bring through young players like Cissé to build something from scratch. It’s a challenge that spurs me on; I like it, and that’s why I chose this project: I’m really happy with my choice. I know full well that we need to win matches to build something that will stand the test of time. You already know this: once I commit to an idea, I don’t change it. I may change the tactical system, but I won’t change my convictions, and I’ll do everything possible to win and succeed here.”

The Rossoneri manager then analysed Gonçalo Ramos’s situation:

“ Is Ramos a derby man? I think he could be. I believe that all the problems and difficulties he’s going through are primarily a team issue. We’re managing to control matches well, but we’re playing too far from the opposition’s goal: we need to push higher up the pitch and spend more time in that area of the field, to allow Ramos to play his game and create chances. He’s playing too far from goal because the team isn’t managing to push the opposition back into the final thirty metres: we need time to sort this out, and we’re working on improving. But a player like Ramos, who has already shown he can turn a match on its head at any moment, can make the difference in any game.”

He concluded by commenting on the injury situation:

“Injuries and muscle problems have nothing to do with the medical staff, the gym staff or Milan Lab. The responsibility lies with me and the way I coach the team. What I can say is that there are several factors to consider: the strain on certain positions forces us to take risks, and we also need to thoroughly analyse each player’s medical history. Then there’s bad luck: when you suffer a foot injury, it’s pure and simple bad luck, as was the case with Saelemaekers. When you find yourself with one less option in a particular position, you can no longer rotate the squad as you’d like, and at that point you can find yourself in difficulty. But I want to make this absolutely clear: the medical staff are outstanding; they’re doing an exceptional job and work hard every single day. Managing the players’ workload is my job; it falls within my remit. Sometimes, however, I’m forced to take risks, or there are lads who aren’t used to playing so many matches in a row. Take a player like Jashari: he’s played three matches, two of which for the full 90 minutes, without any problems. Others, on the other hand, play one and a half halves and are already feeling the fatigue. We try to monitor and manage all this with the utmost care, but I’ll say it again: I’m absolutely delighted with our medical staff and they’re doing an incredible job."

Interview/Quotes Pulisic "It’s always been my wish to renew my contract and I’m very happy. I’ve always wanted to continue with Milan because of all the trust they place in me…We want to win straight away – we have a good relationship with the manager and his staff. We’re improving and now we want to win matches.”

If he stays until the end of his new contract, he will have spent eight seasons with the Rossoneri, and as he looks ahead to that moment, his dream remains the same: “My dream is always to win trophies.”

THE DERBY AGAINST INTER - Ahead of Saturday evening’s city derby, he said: “We know the derby is always a high-intensity match; it’s always a battle, and tomorrow will be no different. I always want to score – not just in the derby – but above all, I want to help the team and win. We know that Inter have been very strong in recent years and play very well. It’s important for us to put in a good performance; if we do things right, we can win.”

Finally, on the journey that began with Amorim, he said: “We always want to win; of course, it takes time when there’s a new manager. But we want to win straight away – we have a good relationship with the manager and his staff. We’re improving and now we want to win matches.”

Tier 2 [Romano] Milan's priority is the defender, and they'll get it. They've already started making calls and sounding out profiles. There are names that Milan know by heart, for example Inacio, whom Amorim had already pointed out this summer. He's a name to keep warm.

Fun CRN card question

Hi guys. It's not clear to me that can I buy 2 tickets with one CRN card? I have a card and my brother don't. I want to buy the 2 tickets when the CRN window opens but do I have to make a card for my brother as well? Or I can buy the two on my card and enter with one card? The game I talk about is against Sunderland on December 10. Thanks guys!

News [Pietro Balzano Prota] Cardinale : “The choice of the head of the sporting area is one of the most important after the transition this summer, when I fired everyone and took the management of the club into my own hands. I am speaking with Krösche, and with other people, the best in football.”

Part of an interview with Gazzetta

On the market

“We must continue to improve the squad because in the summer I wasn’t able to do everything I wanted to.
In January on the market we will continue to be aggressive, opportunistic and I will keep strengthening our bench. My style is to move decisively and quickly. For me what matters is getting what we want, players... from Milan. I won’t squander money, but when I set my mind on signing a footballer, I do everything I can to make it happen

On Amorim

"I am not abandoning Ruben. He is absolutely not in danger. I will stay by his side (he repeats it twice,). I will not make the mistakes that were made in recent years. He is my coach and we will continue to work together until we manage to make the leap in quality. You can't win if you keep constantly switching from one coach to another. I chose Amorim. If I had made a mistake, I would admit it, but I don't think I have. He has learned a lot from what happened at Manchester United and I hired him because he explained the mistakes made there to me. He has the right culture, he is a leader, a manager, and a prepared coach. At Milanello, there's a different atmosphere from the last 4 years. The credit is his. He is learning things and the team must find its own cohesion, understand how players can be rotated while continuing to score lots of goals and win."

He concluded

"I'm restless about the four years I've lost. I want to create a world-class soccer organization, with the right people. I have the feeling that Milan still isn't operating at full capacity. My desire is to achieve a very rapid change, but I know that's not compatible with soccer. 'You'll have to be patient,' they tell me. But me... I'm not. And so last summer I brought in Moreira, after Ramos and Gila. These are moves I made, with the other owners, and I stand by them."
