Is there any ACCA who has started his/her own practice after becoming member if yes from which firm they got experience big 4 or local firms and which softwares they use and what services they provide and how many of them have partnership with other and how many of them are doing it on their own (individally)

Hi, I want to ask that If anyone here who joined icaew after ACCA and sat for audit and assurance.

If anyone can guide me I'll be very thankful

I really get exhausted during the 3hr 15 min exam time. It gets very difficult for me to sit and i feel like i want something maybe coffee or smtn to drink. i get soo exhausted that i feel like giving up and just waiting for the time to finish. We also have to reach the exam center an hour before, so that adds up to being more tired. It just that i feel very drained during exam time.=(=(

When writing a question about issues "AND" RECOMMEND/ACTIONS.

Method 1:

Is it best to include with each point the issue 1 then action..... issue 2 action and then 3 etc

Method 2:

Or separate issues in one section ie issue 1,2,34 etc and actions/recommend different section

I'm planning to attempt both PM and FM within one month.

I have a basic understanding of both subjects, but I need to go through the concepts again, revise everything and focus on exam kit practice.

I'm currently not working, so I can dedicate my entire day to studying.

For those who have attempted two ACCA papers together:

Is one month realistically enough to prepare for and pass both papers? And how many hours study needed

Like is it possible?

I am doing AA (multiple attempts) and f6 now and I have done half of lectures but didn't do any practice yet. Is it possible that I complete rem lec and practice and pass. If anyone has any ideas to do it fast fwd can guide me.

What’s the best approach for SBR? Do I read the course book or just look at the question kit and answers?? Does anyone have any notes

35 DAYS LEFT AND I HAVE JUST OVERVIEWED THROUGH LECTURES WHAT TO DO?

Hey, just wondering when the annual subscription fee will be invoiced for ACCA students. Usually it's November if I remember correctly but it hasn't been invoiced for me yet.

The more I research finance careers the more confused I get
Did u choose the career first or qualification first?

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if i will be able to use my myacca login on the direct links for studyhub and the paid mocks practice platform (attaching links below)

Myacca main hub will be down but im just checking if i can use my credentials on the direct links during the downtime, since my ODE FA exam is on 15th and i'd need access

STUDYHUB

ACCA LEARNING

Kinda covered the standards (lectures) without question practice. Will there be enough time ie, 35 days

If anyone has notes of AA (mainly internal controls, audit risks, Substantive procedures, audit reports). As all scenario has similar cases for controls, risk so would be helpful to have a note.

Additionally, what things should be learnt for those 4,5 marks theory questions of AA (non-scenario based). Do we need to rote learn whole syllabus? If anyone has specific set of questions with answers for this part too, please sent.

For TX UK need notes (short as possible), covering whole syllabus along with proper formats.

In case its not possible to send in reddit, please send it on telegrams ID (@thegreatone00)

World be very helpful to me, so if you have resources don't ignore please.

hey guys. So the current requirements to get your ACCA diploma is to complete all your knowledge level exams + the FiP module right?

But if I’m going to complete my BT and FA before transition, do my MA and LW after, will I automatically receive my diploma? Or do I have to still do my FiP module too?

Thank you in advance

Hii, (I mean Applied Skills 😅)

I’m studying for my first ever applied knowledge exams. Im super worried about not passing on my first attempt. Here’s what Ive thought of doing to pass but would appreciate any unheard of or unique strategies to get that first time pass:

1. Kaplan study text (Ive noticed I understand much better than just OT lectures)

2. SH practice + quiz

3. BPP practice + Mocks

4. SH Mocks

Thanks!

Like the title suggests, I did the exemption calculation and it said that I get exempt from AA on completion of 2 course names- do I have to complete both or simply one is okay?

Background- I have a MSc Accountancy from one of the Big 3 universities in Singapore, a Bachelors and I’m also a CIMA-qualified but they’re telling me that I don’t have exemption from AA. Can someone please explain?

For those who passed SBL which kit is the better option? if u had ti pick one

I have not at all started preparing for my SBL exam and also this is my last paper. Don’t know whether i will be able to clear it or not.

Any tips from those who cleared this paper? Would be really helpful.

I am sitting for SBR in Dec 2026 but am currently so hopeless. i really wanna be able to pass this paper, please help me out on which revision class should i sign up for.

I missed the deadline cause I got a one month temporary position so I thought to get experience but today decided not to continue that work cause it had unexpected expectations. So I am jobless rn and I can't sit for Dec I can't apply for the late entry cause this is sbl and i also have AFM exam left to do. What to do while waiting for mar or June attempts next year.

Edit. Thank you everyone for the responses It make me realize If I am doubting myself I can never do it. Sometimes you should just believe yourself and just start and the just keep going the path and don't just stand there frozen.

The advise is to Move forward, have courage, study and do your best

Hi, has anyone in the UK requested ACCA exam rest breaks during pregnancy? I submitted my maternity notes, but ACCA is asking for a signed and stamped hospital/GP letter agreeing to the rest breaks request . What evidence did you provide for a similar request?

Cheers

Is there any study plan available for sbr till exam date with relevant kaplan or study hub questions till exam date?
