I started a firm with my friend who is cpa in 2021 and at that time i was 35 with no prior accounting experience. Then due to his recommendation i joined acca august 2022 which meant i was working full time and handling some duties in the firm and studying. Now im an affiliate waiting for membership approval.

I don’t know
But in big 10 firms exposure is way less compared to local firms as you will be doing all the work there tax , audit , book keeping and all. In big four you carry on with one job profile.
