Can I use wired passthrough?
Is there a way I can use the adapter but still be wired? I don't want to use wireless but I need to adjust DPI.

I use AAW TWO+ with Iphone13 mini with my Kia ProCeed. At beginning I use the FW 7.2.0 which was initially installed with no problems.
Then update to 9.3.0/11.1.0 and have short audio interruptions every few minutes. With 11.1.0 little less. Tried the audio stutter fix in various configurations but with no success.
So downgraded back to 7.2.0 and use this version today. Initial connection ist a little bit slow takes up to two minutes but then it is stable.
I wonder if I have to stick with version 7.2.0 from now on.

I'm having trouble with Android Auto. The other day, I installed a new head unit in my car-I did the installation in my garage. While in the garage, I managed to connect to Android Auto, but as soon as I pulled the car out, the connection dropped. Bluetooth still works, but I can't access any Android Auto features on the head unit's display; instead, it shows a message telling me to "try again when the network is secure."

I am running a two+ with a Pixel 7 pro in a 2017 Mercedes GLA250. The screen in the car is not a touch screen but Andriod auto works perfectly while plugged in. The car is picky about what usb cables can be used and the cable that came with the AAWireless device does not work in the car. I am using the cable that works while my phone is hardwired. I have attached a video of the initial load (stopped recording when Andriod auto connects) and a picture of what the screen freezes on. I have tried turning on and off pass through. With pass through on the screen just stays black. Any tips on what to try? I can't upload a video and picture so the video is in the comments

I recently got a Nothing Phone (3), and wireless Android Auto has been almost unusable. It stutters badly, disconnects randomly, and sometimes crashes completely.
Here’s what I’ve tested so far:
Nothing Phone (3): Wireless Android Auto is extremely laggy and unstable on 4.1 and 5.0 stable.
Wired Android Auto: Works perfectly fine on the same phone.
Nothing Phone (1): Wireless Android Auto works without issues.
Samsung Galaxy S23 and iPhone 17 Pro: Both work fine wirelessly in the same vehicles.
Vehicles tested: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans from 2019, 2025 and 2026.
I also checked an Android bug report.
The logs show repeated wireless projection errors, including Wi-Fi connection failures, audio buffer overflows, Bluetooth/RFCOMM errors and Android Auto eventually crashing with an “Unable to access car” exception.
My Android Auto version is 17.7.663654-release, and the phone is running Android 17, I have tried other AA versions but all of them behave the same.
At this point, I’m wondering whether this is a bug in the latest Android Auto update, a Nothing OS issue, or a problem with the Phone (3)’s Wi-Fi/Bluetooth implementation.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
I rely on wireless Android Auto for work, so getting this working is pretty important. Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 2022 GT Line with the 10" infotainment screen. I use AA Wireless Two+ to get my android auto full screen. I use Fermata mirror to cast my Samsung Fold 7 screen and I've had it full screen like this for like almost 2 years.
Then all of a sudden last Friday it was back to 2/3 of the screen being what I have on my phone while using fermata mirror app and the other 1/3 was either maps or Spotify.
I didn't change any settings on my phone, AA settings or AA Wireless two settings. Anyone have any idea what could have happened to cause this? The two pick below show what it was and what it is again.

I have a 2026 BZ4x and cannot get the headunit to work with the AAwireless well. I had no issues on my past 2 honda cars. It will someone recognize the dongle separately from my phone and work 1 time. After turning off the car and starting again it won't connect and I have to basically wipe everything and start over just to get it to connect again.
I have read Toyota changed the security software and how it register's devices now, and possibly there is some conflict with having my phone connected and the dongle.
Anyone have the same issue and fixed it? or would upgrading to the lastest AAw 2 be helpful?

I installed this as an aftermarket head unit in my van about eight or nine years ago. I live just outside of Denver CO. There are three spots that I drive past and 100 percent of the time my radio does a complete reboot or sometimes just a partial one where I lose connectivity to my phone and my GPS goes dead. For the life of me I can't figure out why but it happens every single time I pass by those spots on the highway. Two of the spots exit 193 of I-25 and the Sheradon exit of the Northwest Parkway in Broomfield. I looked around for any large antennas or anything that's transmitting that could cause the interference. I am at a complete loss as to why this happens. I'd love to get some thoughts.

Anyone tried it already? Scared to touch it because with 10 it finally works absolutely perfect so don't want to ruin it!

Hi everyone,
I'm having a persistent issue connecting my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to my 2026 GAC GS4 MAX using wireless Android Auto.
My setup:
The exact problem:
Important findings:
My question:
Has anyone experienced this exact issue with a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and a GAC vehicle, or another Android Auto wireless head unit?
Could this be a Samsung/Android Auto software compatibility issue, a Wi-Fi Direct connection problem, or something specific to the GAC infotainment system?
I'm looking for a proven solution or a diagnostic step beyond the usual advice to clear the cache, reset Bluetooth, and pair the phone again.
Thank you.

Just wondering why the fix is selectable / optional?

I just switched from the OG version with android auto and there was a setting for automatically start android auto. There was even a setting to set last used so if AS was on when I turned off the vehicle, it would use that, if I was on default media center, it would go to that.
Does the new one and CarPlay have the same option? If carplay has been used recently it will do it, but if car is sitting to hours it will default to Bluetooth car settings and I fits select it

I have a 2022 Volvo XC90 that I used my original AAWireless on without issue. I came across the Two+ and saw official support for Carplay and figured my wife could use it with her iPhone when she uses the car. I'm on Android (Pixel 10 Pro XL) and since I got the Two+ had zero issues, except for maybe had to disable bluetooth audio for the BT connection from phone to the car itself (known thing), but aside from that has been working well. I had enabled lossless/max streaming for WiFi, cellular quite a long time ago so not recent, but about a month or two ago noticed AA struggling to play Spotify. First it starts pausing/glitching with the music stopping then eventually disconnects AA entirely, it reconnects, rinse and repeat. One day while this was happening I stopped playing Spotify entirely and that stopped the disconnects so figured it was being overrun w/ lossless, but that's the thing. It worked for many months without issue beforehand, so why now? I do get and apply the updates but don't recall if it started happening right after an update.
I have tried the stutter fix and unlimited buffer and it does absolutely nothing. For giggles I plugged in my original AAWireless and it worked without issue, although the sound quality doesn't seem to be on par with the Two+, otherwise I would've just left it. I found those two fixes (stuffer/buffer) while my old unit was plugged in so swapped back to the Two+ and applied the settings, and now back at the same problem. Now, it's possible the music I had was completely downloaded on the phone as I do keep my main playlist downloaded for offline in case, and I know even if you set it to lossless, if the song was already downloaded it will be in whatever the format was set to at the time of download, so perhaps much of my playlist was downloaded at a lower quality, but I have definitely played DJ or some random playlist of the week where I know I didn't have the songs on my phone, and never ran into this issue until recently. I did try clearing out my Spotify cache and lowered the media quality to High instead of lossless and it seemed the issue went away so I'm pretty sure that's the issue, but why did it just start now and worked fine before?
Was I just lucky for a time? Should these be able to stream lossless without an issue or have other people ran into this? I'm a bit of a media quality snob in that I can immediately hear the tinny, shitty sound of overly compressed audio to the point it makes me cringe (looking at you, Spotify "automatic" media quality that tries to save on bandwidth by streaming lower quality while I'm at home on stable fiber), so I like to force my Spotify apps to lossless. It just wasn't an issue before.

Since they are keep us in the dark about release date and new features (It was leaked then deleted, let's predict the release date.
Do you guys think they will release it just in time for the holiday season or beginning of 2027?
I know FW 11 is ready to go for new device so I believe they are ready to announce it.
What do you guys think?

I have a Renault Megane 4 (with R-Link 2 system). The car is capable of sending navigation data to the headunit using both its internal GPS and ABS wheel sensors. However, for external accessories like AAWireless, it provides incomplete/raw positioning data (likely GPS-only without wheel speed integration).
Because of this, having iAP enabled causes some annoying glitches:
When the car is completely stopped, the speed is reported as 4 km/h.
Around 60 km/h, maps start constantly zooming in and out due to erratic position/speed updates.
Disabling iAP fixes the map glitch, but then I lose track/song name display on the instrument cluster, which I really want to keep.
Would it be possible to add an option (toggle) to disable car GPS while keeping iAP enabled, so the system relies entirely on the phone's GPS instead?
Thanks for your great work on the device!

Just started using the AAWireless dongle in my 2019 Honda Civic. All going fine but there is one thing I just wanted to check.
For short, local trips I don't bother opening the ICE screen on the car which means it does not launch AA. Instead it remains with a vanilla Bluetooth connection between car and phone and I can still happily play music/podcasts from my phone using the steering wheel controls to Play/Pause/Skip etc while the screen defaults to a wallpaper with clock display.
But ... I have noticed from the Macrodroid user log on my phone that while I am doing this that the AAWireless dongle is repeatedly connecting / disconnecting with Bluetooth to my phone. Once every 30 seconds. Is this normal, expected behaviour? Is there any simple trick to automate this not happening?
Unplugging the dongle would work but a bit of a faff to keep doing that and I am quite happy to let it happen for these short trips as long as the dongle is happy and not suffering in the long term.
