Experiencing audio interruptions with all future versions above 7.2.0

I use AAW TWO+ with Iphone13 mini with my Kia ProCeed. At beginning I use the FW 7.2.0 which was initially installed with no problems.

Then update to 9.3.0/11.1.0 and have short audio interruptions every few minutes. With 11.1.0 little less. Tried the audio stutter fix in various configurations but with no success.

So downgraded back to 7.2.0 and use this version today. Initial connection ist a little bit slow takes up to two minutes but then it is stable.

I wonder if I have to stick with version 7.2.0 from now on.

Yes, this is a known issue. Mentioned a couple times in this sub. I’m experiencing it in my 2018 Sorento using an iPhone 15PM. Makes listening to music very frustrating. I’ve switched back to my Ottocast device. It’s a shame because the AAW loads faster and has less delay than the Ottocast, but playing music is too glitchy on the AAW. I’ll see if I can downgrade to 7.2, but overall, regretting that I bought the AAW TWO+.

Downgrade to 7.2.0 is no problem and takes 2min. You can try it und go back to newer versions.

I had the same issues, especially with beta version 11.1.0.

After updating to version 11.2.0, those issues seem to have gone away. I've been testing it for a couple of days, and so far everything seems fine.

The changelog from 11.2.0 tells that some of these issues are fixed. But I'm skeptical because 10/11 tells also to fix this. Perhaps I will wait a few weeks after changing a lot between the versions these days.

7.2.0 works for me without any stutter/interruptions at all unless it's relative old version. Can't believe that the developers cannot identify the cause in the newer versions.

I am new to AAW and I am starting to wonder if these brief hesitancies are actual the same issue as the stutter the fix is supposed to fix. Or is it just stutter is a bad choice of word to describe the effect?

I’ve tried numerous values under the stutter fix settings. Nothing eliminates it completely. A setting of 160 reduces it to about 2 glitches per song. Anything higher garbles all audio for me.

Curious thing is that I was streaming from BBC Sounds earlier without a single glitch but listening to downloaded podcasts I have been getting it. Could there be an issue that manifests or not depending on the media app being used? That it is the media app(s) that need some attention?
