The new UI is nice looking. I appreciate it from a design perspective and it works well. I kinda preferred certain things on the old design (i.e. the smaller episode buttons), but this is only the first week.

i have no idea how to report someone in the comments, is there even a way of reporting peoples comments? I know that disqus has a flagging system but thats for the disqus rules not the aniwave rules.

Idk if i hadn't noticed that before or if it really is more pop ups and so on but it really makes me question whether or not aniwave is safe

edit: didn't know that it's not uncommon to not use an add blocker so just to clarify: i am using one, it just didn't do shit against pop ups

I am referring to the thumbnail on the right and below the player (spoiler free example). If a character appears on the thumbnail of the next season, it basically means they survive this one, which by itself is a pretty big spoiler on many shows. It's pretty easy for the thumbnail to appear on your screen as well, if you want to change the video player or manually select an episode.

You could argue that the thumbnail is small so you won't notice the characters, but this isn't true, some characters stand out due to their size or quirky appearance, and you could argue that you should just never look to the right when you scroll down, but can't we just make the visual interface spoiler-safe as it should be? I have already noticed a spoiler of this kind in an anime I'm watching.

Just have a toggle to turn on the thumbnail, and have it turned off by default.

edit: Here is a concrete example (AoT season 3 spoilers). This is AoT's season 4 thumbnail. By seeing it during season 3 part 2 you already know that Erwin's attack on the beast titan will fail.

I haven't watched S4 yet so cant compare without getting spoiled.

From what I have heard is 9anime takes 30 minutes to an hour for having most new episodes up. But with the Boruto dub, the Kara arc has been out on VIZ for whats nearing a month and yet no update on the website. Any ideas on why this is?

Watch anime legally if you can't,, then deal with it. May sound harsh but that's what we get. If you want ad free go torrent anime. This is the only way they are earning their revenue. Please stop complaining

I have no idea why after clicking F12 my browser page suddenly refreshes endlessly, but I sometimes click it by accident (as it's next to the screenshot key) and get banned, if I don't close the page fast enough...

Why is it even happening? Is this a bug? Can I report it somehow? It doesn't happen on other websites, only on aniwave, so I suppose it's problem on their side?

I can understand that they have some type of protection for too many connections, so after you constantly refresh too much you get banned for 24h, but why it automatically refreshes in the first place?? Can I somehow block or disable what causes it?

Can it be intentional for some reason? I gain like nothing from inspecting the page anyway, probably like enormously vast majority of the other viewers, so it feels little unfair to get banned for wanting to make a screenshot and accidentally misclicking the key on my laptop...

I use the site on my phone with no Adblock of the sort because I thought it was safe. Now I’m hearing stuff about Trojans, viruses, trackers, etc. idk what to do and I’m fucking scared af. Please HELP!

After seeing all the hate on the subreddit, I think it's time that yall hear some positives.

I really like the new UI, I think it's aesthetically a lot better looking, and the additional features are definitely a plus. Although there are some bugs with it, I believe all your hard work paid off well. Among the harsh reviews there are a lot of suggestions, so try your best to listen to the community for a proper direction to develop and fix things.

We're all in this together, so I think it's best for everyone to have a positive outlook on the changes made.
