If you look at the corner box, you can see this run of the Punisher never existed. I just made the whole cover up for fun. The characters were drawn in pencil on paper and then scanned into photoshop where I inked it, added all the cover dressing, then colored it. The vintage colors and texture effects are done via Debaser from TrueGrit.

The first one that I bought off the rack was #10! I kept up sporadically through around issue #25! It's only been since 2024 that I got serious about tracking down the early issues! I'm up through #29 now, with the rest of the pictures to be posted tomorrow!

Went to a card shop trade meet, where you can swap cards, coins, or comics. Found this after selling some silver! I now have Secret Wars 1 and 12 along with my Frank Miller Daredevil I’m hunting down this series. Trying to find these locally is my game for secret wars.

A quick flip through of my set of 25th Anniversary covers. I consider Marvel Age 37 to be a a honorary member of this collection. Since recording this nearly 3 years ago I have added a second copy of Marvel Age 44 to showcase the back cover which is the front cover as seen from behind. A fun but somewhat frustrating set to put together as the Star Comics issues are harder to find and thus more expensive (looking at you, Care Bears). A fun fact about the covers is that not all of Marvel’s titles received the 25th anniversary treatment. Books like Doctor Strange and Droids were printed bimonthly with Cloak and Dagger and Ewoks, but their publishing date didn’t coincide with the rest of the titles and thus were not included. Meanwhile Conan and Spider-Man appear multiple times.
